It was on a British Airways flight from Rome to London a few years ago, we were given a rectangular looking piece of something. To this day I still have no idea what it was or what it was supposed to be, it had no taste or discernable flavor and I could have been starving to death and still wouldn't have eaten whatever it was. I remember looking around and no one else was eating "the thing" we were given either. Maybe they gave it to us to make the otherwise bland British food taste good when we got to England.

i guess worst for me was something I hate eating...eggs. ALL the breakfast foods offered were egg based, but since I was on the 11hr flight from La to London I ate part of the surrounding meal.....It was with Air New Zealand, and have chosen other ailines over them since all because of that breakfast....I was starving!!

On a Pacific Air flight, the gelatinous crud on my plate looked worse than the semi-dried vomit in the side pocket of my seat.
