Everyone says "truth", except when confronted with a truth that is very difficult to understand, and then suddenly there is an exception to the rule. And that's OK, it could almost be accused as human nature, but the truth is there is no 1 truth, and there are no absolutes, and the only truth that exists is YOUR truth, your perspective, your point of view, and noone can justify telling you to think other than what your heart says, what your eyes see, etc, etc.
So the point of all this is that ignorance IS bliss, AND the the truth WILL set you free, and this is because God is so clever to know that we the people have created means to deal with things that are difficult, and everything IS for a purpose, and the collective vision is so unbelievably beautiful. I wish you could see what I see, and instantly you would understand...

It's not a case of "Truth will set you free VS Ignorance is Bliss", but rather "Truth will set you free AND Ignorance is Bliss".

Truth will set you free. Because it is the truth. Ignorance is bliss, because the ignorant have nothing to fear. In truth, the facts of life come with consequence for not acting in your best interest. The ignorant are blissful because they don't know any consequences for their actions. Both are true.
But the ignorant remain ignorant by choice, the truth seekers are free because they work hard to learn it.

That's a funny question. Some people think that their version of the truth is the only truth even if others have a different version of the truth. But, ya. The truth will set you free.

Truth is my choice, Ignorance may be considered bliss but is it really you may be ignorant to the fact that you may have cancer but is that bliss or will it hurt you in the end if you know the truth you may be able to do something about it wouldn't you think? the truth is not always pleasant ignorance may keep one out of worrying but it will catch up on them and may even end up making things worse than they needed to be because knowing the truth one may be able to plan ahead with a strtegy and sort something out whereas if one is blissfully oblivious to the problem one does nothing about it, and ends up in a mess that one cannot fix when it is too late.

Ignorance can be very dangerous and is not always bliss.

Whereas truth, as revealed by Jesus, changes you from the inside out-- and sometimes being told the truth even hurts-- but in the end you will have greater freedom than you ever thought possible.
