im confused!he s white american and he was catholic now he convert to islam.he was in egypt last month and i dont know wht happened to him but he s muslim now..am i muslim too?

Christianity isn't a religon, it is a relationship. It is a relationship b.w you and God. How you get saved is pray to God and say "Jesus, I'm sorry for all of the sins I've commited. Please forgive me, I want to be saved and walk in your name. Please teach me those ways. I want to be written in the book of life, and be able to be saved." God loves us so much. He loved us so much he gave up his only begotten son to face death on the cross so our sins could be forgiven and so we can be saved. If you need something or guidance, you can always ask him or talk to him. He will always listen. If you feel like he's not listening, maybe you have to listen and have discernment to know his ways. How you will gain that is by reading the bible and going to church. God has a plan for your life, and he doesn't want you going into the wrong direction. The reason why there is sin on the Earth is because there is the devil and Jesus loved us so much to give us a choice. Adam and Eve were given a choice, and they took the wrong one which effected us. That is why when Jesus is to come back, it will be like a thief in the night. He will take the ones who chose to walk in his ways or at least try. The ones that love him and want to be with him. Personally,i grew up with a Christian mother and a muslim father. I've read parts in both the Bible and the Kuran. The Bible is full of so much more life, happiness, and its more fulfilling. I've also been to a Church and a Mask before. Same with the church, some churches can be boring. That is why you need to find a good one; a one with an annoiting where you can feel the Godly atmosphere. That is why I believe in Jesus Christ and have a relationship with him.

No you are not a muslim. As a young boy you have the right to choose which religion you wish to follow. But you should know that even if you convert to Islam eventually, you are not annulling Jesus, Mother Mary or even Moses. By following Islam you will still believe in Jesus, but not as God, as God's messenger. That's because Islam greatly reveres all of them and thousands of prophets before them. You should know that Christianity has been ruled by the the Catholic church for centuries. The bible has been tampered with by so many people. Who gave them the right to change the word of God.
Islam provides the last and unaltered word of God to all of humanity. It is based on truth and logic. If you support the truth, you will make a wise descision.

No, you are still Christian. Don't let anyone fool you into becoming a muslim, and pray for your father to leave islam before it is too late. Read the koran and you will see that islam is evil. Allah is not the God of the Bible. Muhammad was a rapist, murderer, and pedophile, not a prophet.

Kevin, you are a christian....If you believe that Jesus died on cross for the sins of the whole world and rose from death and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. Read, Study your bible about Jesus and all that He did for us on the cross..Pray for your Father, that he might be brought back to the Lord.
God is in the process of making ready to sound the trumpet and those that belong to him with be "taken up in the twinkling of eye" Be strong and stay close to Lord...Kevin.
Keep your eyes on the Lord and grow in your faith.
If your Father comes home and starts trying to convert YOU. You tell him NO. And tell him you are praying for him too.
By asking Jesus into your heart he will give you knowledge and faith in the spirit and remain his. By increasing your knowlege of God you will protect yourself from being led astray to another person's religion. Anything that doesn't have Jesus in it,,,isn't the correct faith and God says so in the bible...

No you are not if you don't believe in the truth of Islam and you don't chose to become a Muslim, but I suggest you talk to your Dad to know why he converted to Islam and maybe you'll be convinced.

You are still a catholic until you testify that there is no other God beside Allah, and you testify that Muhammad (PBUH) is His messanger.
My advise, find out more information about Islam, you can go to the mosque for example. watch and learn about Islam through your father. see if any good value in him after he reverted to Islam. if possible, have a dicussion with him. May Allah show you to the same path as your father.
