It is truely amazing how much of the words of the Bible are as true today as they were more than 2000 years ago, especially with respect to the treatment of the believers. Ironically those 'compassionate' atheists think they are being progressive when they are no different from the persecutors described in the Bible. I suspect it will be the case to the end of the ages.

As a christian myself I sometimes marvel at what goes on in these discussions.

Why not speak to non-Christians in a peaceable manner.

Yet I see abusive speech and provocation. What do people expect.

What about the golden rule? Treat others as you would have them do unto you?
What about displaying the fruitages of the spirit?

The thing to remember is this. You come here, to a site where you KNOW non christians and christians have discussions. Then you have to expect that they are going to get involved in your discussions.

To answer your question, No I do not think this site is proof of Christs words. I think it would be if people were persecuting or hating Christians for no reason and without provocation.

It is certainly an indication of the anti-Christian feeling out there but this is nothing new, you know a lot of the anger about Christ and Christianity on here is nothing more than fear and misunderstanding,it is also considered by younger people to be cool to slam the Christians, but in a lot of cases they have a burning need to belong and as they have a fear of Christianity they choose to belong to the Atheistic bent, this is why Christians must be gentle and understanding with them and never ever pass judgment as so many need direction today.

We live in a planet full of player-haters which conversate while the seekers on the front-lines demonstrate. I personally think "Lover of God" is doing great! from here to the pearly gate we are the soilders fufilling Gods prophecy everyday. simps can't see a G because G's are on a spiritual journey. while they are only left with uncertainty.

Yes, indeed. This site is certainly proof of Jesus Words.
In Matthew chapter 5 it says
Blessed are ye when men revile you and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you, falsely for my sake.
Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for they persecuted the prophets that went before you.

It is true that Christ said that, but you need to stop trying to shove your beliefs down everyone's throats because this is what gives Christians a bad name. I am a Christian but I no longer have respect for a lot of my fellow "Christians" because of this. I no longer go to church because of this. Those of you who do this need to realize that you're turning more people away than you are converting people.

YES BUT FEEL BLESSED-look at Paul imprisoned for life for preaching the gospel-after being stoned flogged and more many times-as His words in Hebrews 11 come to mind.

did he despair-NO he wrote then the greatest book on joy ever written from his prison cell-Philippians 4:4-20 prayer, peace, power to do all things good through the Messiah who gives us strength (vs13) contentment having food clothes and a shelter, and rejoice ever more!

Luke adds to rejoice when persecuted for my name sake-to also jump for Joy-that is Jesus doctorly advice-dont just praise God =Jump for joy

people do not fear what can not hurt them. You do not fear the Athiests belief-it is a joke-to say there is no God- you would have to be God to be able to look spiritually and physically throught the whole earth all at the same time to prove there was no God.

professing themselves to be wise they became fools
"The fool hath said in their heart there is no God." Psalm 14vs1

Jesus said to go to all the world and share the Gospel, and to be wise and harmless as a dove=to do it in love

Jesus said all power is given unto me and I give it unto you

What I have done ye shall do and even greater

give him the glory and tell the story

use the word of God "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

lto help my Jewish people -use Isaiah 52:13-53:12

be inspired unashamed though they may say things know who u r in Jesus Romans 1:16 and for Jewish people chapters 9-11 in it Paul said I would be accursed -willing to go to hell forever in torment to see my brethren come to Jesus,
He told the gentile to provoke the Jew to jealousy by your love for Jesus grafted into the Messiah one in Him.

have a great day and great question-not my compliment-those who condemn you compliment you the best-if they hated me they will hate you for caring about me and sharing my care with them

whatever you loon. I do not hate christians. Discussion on the internet does not equal persecution, and since christians are the majority in the US I doubt it happens at all over there. The majority usually DOES the persecuting.
