The scriptures say:

Be not deceived, for God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap.

Serious words eh?

It seems to me that you are the one doing the mocking. Christ was not the name of a person, or did you not know that? You don't even know what the name Christ means or how to use the word, do you? Oh, I see. You are asking what is the benefit to you for mocking Christians. Very cute.

I've mocked Christianity before, sure. But I've never really mocked Christ.

Could have used a haircut, but maybe he was going for the rocker look. He seemed like a pretty sweet dude, preaching about being totally awesome to one another. Right on.

God is God and no one denies this. The problem lies in believing if Jesus was really the SON of God or was he man with the spirit of God with in him. If God is pure spirit as we believe he cannot passable have a son but as I believe he could indeed put his spirit with in a man. This I do believe. And why is it then that the Bible only speaks of the Jews and not the Africans or the red Indians or the Europeans. This question has many answers. And as the Bible is a Biography of one mans life and a genetics of a nation written by many why is it so many people believe in it, the word is (LOST IN TRANSLATION). I Hope this does not offend anyone that is not my intention these are just my own thoughts.

You want us to believe you are a follower of Christ? Where are your disciples? Where are the multitudes of people listening to you and having to be fed? When was the last time you went into a temple and chased people out with a whip? When was the last time you where put in prison or beheaded for your faith? Get serious.

There is nothing that can be gained in mocking Christ. Why mock the only brother who sticks with you through thick and thin. When everyone else leaves you to be beaten and stoned for being who you are. The one who is there to meet us as we cross over, it would be foolish to contemplate mocking Him. He is our closest friend.

what exactly constitutes 'mocking Christ'?

Because I see you christians complaining about that a whole lot on here, but I never see questions like "why was christ such a jerk"?

What i do see is people mocking christians who pretend god created the world 6000 years ago, who think homosexuality is abomination etc. etc.

See the difference?

No one wants to mock Christ, but some self righteous person said all other people are Sh*t because they do not believe in this person call christ and his god and using them as a shield, then become a cry baby ...... hence the repercussion.

I don't mock Christ. I actually do believe that Jesus existed, but I look at him from the humanist perspective. I mock Christianity. And I do not believe in their Bible.
