I have 2 tattoos, and while they are both nice and won't become dated (as they are patterns not pictures), I don't want any more. Both my tattos are part of me now and represent certain times in my life that I will remember fondly always. But these days you are usually the "freak" if you don't have a tattoo. They have become so common that everyone has one. i also insisted on getting an armband, and now i sometimes wish I did'nt have it, when I am trying to look a bit fancy, on a night out with my husband. I also worry what it will look like when i am an old granny. maybe it will be hidden in rolls of wrinkles. Lol.Anyway..I have no regrets...whats done is done.....just think long and hard before you put anything permanent on your body.

Yes I have tattoos, and the only "regret" I had was with the first one I got. 12 years later it just looked really bad. I did not investigate the artist before having the work done, and 2 weeks ago I got a cover up on it. Now it is great and no more regrets.

I just got my first tatoo about 3 weeks ago, and it's a half sleeve. People thought I was crazy to get one so big for my first and it ended up taking about 4 hours 45 mins (all at once). I absolutlely love it, and not for one second have I regreted getting it.

I have a tattoo but in a very discrete place so no one could see it. Got it done when I was 18 but my mum hates tattoos, so I never told her about it and she still doesn't know, years later. Because you can't see it, I don't regret it. I got it done there because I didn't want mum to know about it, but I think if I had got it on my arm or somewhere like that I would regret it. I thought about it in advance of where to get one done and I knew that if a few years down the line I didn't like my tattoo it didn't matter so much because only I can see it (and my husband) so was not a big deal if I ended up hating it, as no one else knew I had a tattoo.

I love mine, they are all in places that can be hidden or shown off, they are of a meaningful creature to me(seahorses, dad was a fisherman). I have a few, 5, and plan on having 3 more. I waited a few years to get my first, i had the first one drawn up at 16, got it at 20, and still love to show off that first one still, at 31. I think they are all tattoos that i will be comfortable to have aged 60, but i am fairly sure i wont be showing off as much skin at that age anyway.

I have one,
I waited ten years to be sure it was the one I wanted and the place I wanted it
and I have had it for 5 years now.
I love it!
I am still working on my next one, because I want it to be as perfect as this one was. It will probably take another 8 years before I get it done, but I am looking forward to it.

Any actual tattoo save could have plenty artwork to compliment between it is not even humorous. they might additionally draw like mad - so your mind's eye is the obstacles. Dont get a tramp stamp - all women have them. rather get a small piece on your ankle or something

I have a tattoo. It says desire in chinese symbols and it was a gift to myself once I graduated high school...most importantly, I don't regret it one bit. As a matter of fact, I want another. :-)
