I'm a tall, blonde, rather attractive 22year old who lives in Sydney, Australia. My cliche clothing piece is a mini skirt n top or short dress! As I said, I have blonde hair which is just past my shoulders which I usually blow-dry straight and I as most girls do, I wear make-up. I'm tall (5'9"-5'10"), have a good figure, long legs, have a big, nice smile, love to laugh, I love to be tanned but have a small bust. :(
My friends always note that I have guyz checking me out but one of my guy friends once said, if he didn't know me, he would never approach me in fear of getting rejected :(
I've just come out of a 3year relationship n would really like to start anew....what can I do to get guyz to talk to me?!?!?!
I'm a confident grrl.....but I also have the fear of approaching guyz as I fear being rejected..

Its true. Sometimes chicks are just too good looking. Guys have one look at you and go, shiiiit she is waaay out of my leauge. The only way you can get around this is to either change your body language, or dress down a bit and leave a little to the imagionation.
Funny thing is, if i met you irl now I wouldnt have the fear of being rejected because you harbor the same fear (im 24 from perth australia :P. But to sum up just be more down to earth and you'll find guys might even approach you without you needing to go over their. And they may even do it while straight (i totally cannot do that :P)

Hmmm you may want to dress more approperiately. I am old fashioned and a prude and I find skimpy outfits to be a turn off. Another thing is I tend not to approach every stranger I see and I need a reason before talking to a stranger. A good tip is to be interested in the same things I am. For example if you see me reading books, take a book and sit next to me and profess your love for reading. If I am in a candle store, comment on all the wonderful candle scents and this will open up converstation.

The door swings both ways: girls and guys are: shy, timid, self confident, and fear of being rejected.
also, groups of girls are intimidating. the guy might only approach when you're alone for a minute or see you're bored.
So the next time you are just sitting at the bar and you like some one, try eye contact and smile.

I wouldn't talk to you , because I am shy lol. You could always just go up and talk to a guy because by the sounds of it you are hot. If you are hot and you know it you shouldn't worry about rejection.
You should go by the motto, " They don't know what they are missing"

Just be yourself. Do not over emphasize your God given attributes. You are apparently quite sure what you are looking for in a guy and if at first glance "he does not fit", you may display a certain body language that may frighten him off.

i dont like to date girls taller than me (im 5'11) but i can see how guys can be intimidated by you. i always fnd it easier to go up to a girl who is "cute" rather than hot because they can be easier to approach. plus im not the best lookng guy in the world so i would probably feel like i dont have a shot.

Why don't you initiate a conversation? Guys will not approach you unless they are really aggressive. They probably assume you have a man.

you just have to play around with the guys that are making eye contact with you, if you like them as well give them a sign to come over and just say hi.
