Lately my feet have been going numb for no apparent reason, falling asleep. I usually don't notice it right away unless I go to get up, or until the blood starts flowing again and I get that tingling feeling. It has also happened to my hand and fingers a couple times, but not as often.

This has been happening for about 2 weeks now. It happens roughly 3 times a day or more.

I do have the blood clotting disorder Factor V Leiden. Could it be anything to do with that? If not what COULD be the possible problem?

You need to ask a doctor, right away. What happens if you exercise?

I would see your doctor asap, your extremities "going to sleep" indicates a circulation problem. Note down what you are doing when it happens, how you are sitting, or laying or standing.

You definatly need to talk to your doctor about that.

I wouldn't take any advice from anyone here. You have a condition that needs attention from your doctor.

Does Diabetes run in your family? Please get checked. In my family this has been a sympton of nerve damage due to high blood sugar.
