My former roommate kept pulling knives on me, & also, I heard horror stories about how other people form there almost died because of being stabbed. I had to movw out of there quick, fast, & in a hurry!

You might have had a bad experience from your former foommate but to say that people from Brooklyn like to fight with knives is a BAD "stereotype" that shouldn't be perpetuated. Not EVERYONE from Brooklyn uses knives to fight. There are those from Brooklyn that don't like to fight.
Sorry for your experience but don't lump the entire borough that way. It's just as bad as that German soldier telling his troops to shoot African-Americans in The Bronx.

I've had some experience in violent crime in Brooklyn and its a question of what weapon is available. Many times its a knife, a firearm, or some miscellaneous thing...I seen someone assaulted with a food processor.
