I think this means that our lives are all recorded, to every fine detail. and because we will be all present that we will will all know of each others personal life. what do you or think about this, and that lying to our friends and partners is futile I think because they will find out one day. what do you think, pretty humbling I think!

I will elaborate on what the other Muslim said...
There are two Angels with you..one sitting on either shoulder...one records the Bad deeds you have done and the other records the Good...
On Judgment Day this book of yours will be opened and God will Judge you fairly and Justly according to your book and your life's situation...

The guy above me is right in saying that once you have repented and asked for forgiveness God does let it go...In the Quran it also says that if you do something bad and then do something good shortly after (without thinking about it) the automatically the bad sin is erased from your book...But if you do something bad and think you can do something good just to rectify that wrong, it doesn't get erased...

Sorry that's night right its contradictory to the Bible. The Bible states that God keeps no record of wrong doings. The writer of Revelation got this wrong, but try to tell Christians this and they will burn ya at the stake.

The Bible also states the forgiveness of the Lord is everlasting and once forgiven the transgressions are tossed to the four winds never to be remembered again.

But then they will argue what do I know i am not a Christian... so I can't possibly understand their Bible *Rolls eyes*

This what the holy quran say's about what will happen in that day .

“And the Book (of Deeds) will be placed (open before you); and you will see those who were sinful in great fear because of what is (recorded) therein; they will say, 'Woe to us! What kind of Book is this that leaves out nothing small or great, but holds an account everything therein!' they will find all that they did, placed before them: and God does not treat anyone unjustly." (Qur’an 18:49)

I think that my doubts about myself are on the burners, so to speak. I trust that God will keep His word and keep me. That's our hope anyway, isn't it?
