I just noticed that my right eye is rather red and leaking and junk. I also currently have a bad head/chest cold. Its feeling rather uncomfortable... I heard sometimes you can get pink eye after a cold, could I have it and should I try to go to the doctor tommorrow or can I treat it on my own?

I had it last year with a cold. You are lucky if there is no pain involved with yours. My sore scratchy eyes made it one of the worst colds I have ever had.

Yes. You should go to the doctor. There are different types of pink eye, and the doctor needs to figure it out and give you the right kind of eye drops.

If you have money to pay the doctor... just go.

If not, get to the pharmacy and ask to the attendant... do not expect professional advice from web surfers.

Good luck
