IT WOULD LOOK GREAT . GO FOR IT . ALSO YOUR STYLIST MAY BE ABLE TO ADD SOMETHING MORE, WHICH HAS NOT CROSSED YOUR MIND. GOOD LUCK.

Why would there be anything wrong with you getting blond streaks in your hair? I have had yellow-blond, white, black and even black w/ a white stripe on the side (during my "band" days) and I have always refused to let anyone dictate what color my hair should be, or what clothes I should wear, etc... I think you should do the same. If you don't like the streaks, the stylist can color it again to make it look more "normal" again. It's your hair; you should wear it the way you are comfortable with.

This is an old style that was done back in the early 90's (thought it was more blonde with dark brown and black underneath) and I have seen it being worn since then, over and over... that and the skunking of chunky streaks. It looks overdone and like someone is trying WAY too hard to look like they are OC or Hills rejects.

An updated trend is hair that is curled into waves at the bottom, with lighter highlights through the bottom on all the curls, layers, like the Mom on Gilmore Girls in a WB commercial...go with hair that suits you, not what you see on other people. If it fits your personality and style, then go for it but now all people can make it work.
