Sunday is a fine day to rest. I enjoy sitting out in the backyard and enjoy the sites and sounds that nature makes.
A lot of people in the world have to work on Sunday and guess what. It is not a bad thing.
If you belong to a religious order then you are bound by there theologies and dogmas. This is something you agree to with the church you belong to.
You associate God with Sunday for some reason I have yet to understand. It appears that you think that God worked all day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and then played hookie on Sunday.
First of all, there were no days of the week when God created everything. If you look at our calendar you will discover that the first day of the week is Sunday. Continuing with your thinking, the seventh day would be Saturday the way I see it.
I'll make it all simple for you. Jesus Christ became our Passover and our Sabbath. God wants you to rest in His Son everyday not just on a particular day.><>

Some people are convinced that it is a sin to work on what they would percieve as the Sabbath.
I would try to give this as an answer to them:
Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
Things have changed for us. The Sabbath was but another type or shadow of things to come. To me, the Sabbath is the life of Faith. And we will 'sabbath' when we are with our Lord.

The 'law' of resting on the sabbath was established by the Sanhedrin in the Old Testement. Christ said he came not to obey the law but to fulfill it, meaning that the old jewish laws of the Old Testement were now obsolete and unnecessary. However, that doesn't mean they aren't still good guidelines for our lives, they are just not necessary for our salvation through Christ. The same is true of every 'law' that was laid out in Old Testement from eating pork to tithing. Whether you consider Saturday or Sunday your sabbath, as a Christian you are not bound to these Old Testement Laws.

You don't have to do anything. For the love of god, just make your own decisions. That book does not have all the answers. It's like these catholic priests that aren't sure whether or not they should become child molesters or not, because the book didn't tell them. It is your life and nobody 2000+ years ago knew anything about god or life that we don't know today. In fact, they knew a whole lot less.

You will not go to hell for working on Sundays. Take some time to think about God.
