There are so many. Are there some that don't follow up with the word of God? Are there some I should avoid, or embrace? Which one do you think God wants me to associate with? Which one will upset God or send me to hell?

If you want the truth about how a religion should be to be accepted by God the answer to that is in God's Word the Bible you can go one step fuirther and ask God to show you wherein is his truth and if you are really sincere in heart genuinne then he will show you he did thast gfor me, oh and i don't mean that he literally spoke to me and said this is it but he did make me meet some people from the true religionb that do follow upwith the word of God, so he has helped me find the true knowledge from the Bible and you too can see how much false belief is in the world todayGod wants you to associate with the truthor the true followers of himand he wants you to know the truth about him, and you can know the truth about God because he has put it ibn his word the Bible. If you learn the truth about God you will not need to worry about hell because God's true followers know the truth about hell and the common beliefs about hell are not truth. If you listen to lies which actually come from the devil you will missout on the real life that you can have as God's free gift to all those who truly want to know him and who search for the truth about him this is why the Bible says that God is a spirit ant those who worship him must worsip in spirit and truth(John4:24)it also says that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free(John8:32)How can the truth set you free, free from what? The truth will set you free from the bondage to the lies and false beliefs one of these false beliefs is about hell. If you want any more info just feel free to ask.

You can choose whatever denomination makes sense to you. Try different ones out until you find something that makes you heart feel right. And as far as the first comment about mormons or lds (which is the same thing) i can personally atest that they are the most wonderful people and would do anything for anyone. have an open mind and heart whenver you are looking into a different religion. don't go in with any prejudices to anything. and if you are really searching for truth i would suggest reading the book of mormon. you don't even have to attend a service if you think that you might be influenced by others...just read it, all the way through and i promise with every piece of me that you will have found a truth so strong you will not be able to deny it. it has brought me the greatest happiness and strength in my life. but whatever you choose to do, do whatever feels right to you.

i'm Agnostic now, yet this manner of Christianity .... makes extra experience to me than all others. i'm so executed with the bickering and infighting on each block the place there's a church. while will human beings awaken and understand that it incredibly is all with regards to the money and potential. the reason there are a superb type of church homes everywhere is as a results of the fact there are a superb type of conflicting doctrines and contradictions in the Bible. The Bible became into so written on purpose to reason controversy, which motives thousands and thousands of branches of the christian faith to pop up everywhere. And the money is sweet, so what do you anticipate. The extra I see, the extra I understand that there is not any church on the face of the earth this is actual & precise.

I am not dancing around this question. I have attended Baptist churches all my life and even though I dissagree with their Dispensational view I will continue to attend Baptist churches. I have a friend that attends reformed Anglican (like episcopal) and I agree with much of thier beliefs however they are a bit too ritualistic (semi-catholic like). I know some of the Methodist system of beliefs and I think it is a good denomination. I would really test the so called "Non-denomination churches" if you wish to go that route. Some "non-denominations" make up stuff as they go and twist things and really distort the Gospel.

There is the Bible, and all those commentaries and Archeological finds that are out there. You have God's spirit promised to you if you trust Him, why not let Him raise your spiritual awareness? Why do you need a denomination?

Trust God to pull you through. That's what I did. I am not affiliated with a denomination. I was taught as well as I could be, and am still learning.

Get this: You are free in Christ. Jesus didn't start any denominations. Belong to Him.

You really shouldn't ask this question because every person will choose their own denomination as the best one. I would suggest reading about each denomination and choosing the one that you think is the right one. You are the only one who can make that decision.

Also...You don't have to belong to a denomination to be a Christian. Believe what you want to believe. I do. :)

All God wants is for you to find peace and live a good life. I would tend to steer away from fundamentalist anything including Christianity. Churches like the Mormons, LDS, Jehovah's Witnesses, well, personally I would not advise them.

Just go to a few different churches for their services and find one that speaks to your heart then check it out before committing. In the mean time, God loves you and could not care what church you belong to so long as you live the truth that is in your heart.

You might even take this opportunity to investigate other forms of worship. Perhaps you might find that Buddhism speaks to you. Maybe the Bahai faith. Maybe Islam. You never know until you study and learn about your options. It really is not for anyone here to tell you the right answer, perhaps just offer options.

Educate yourself, read, and the answer will come to you.

debk is right, you have to research first by your self.finding the true is like seeking God or righteousness,God will lead you to the right path.iv experience that before and now i found the real church,i dont want you to tell the name of my church but i would introduce to you the doctrines that we believe.
we only believe in God
bible is the only book we used.
Jesus is the founder of this church.
we didn't worship statue or saint,
we didn't patronised holy days like all saiths day etc.because we only believe of what is written in the bible.
we worship every Thursday and Sundays..

hope you find the truth..
good luck!

God doesn't care what denomination you belong to. The only thing that matters is that you have a personal relationship with Jesus. Once you have that taken care of, God will direct you to which local church you should be a part of.

you have to study your bible and keep asking the Lord and He will let you know, knowing the bible and having a relationship with Jesus Christ helps you find where God wants you and if the church your visiting is teaching the bible
