It is beyond me how anyone could answer this question. No one has been there ... not even the dudes who wrote the Bible, so how'd they know? How would anyone know?

There are many descriptions of Heaven. There are many instances where Heaven is described as a sea of crystal. There is usually mention of how white it is--whiter than snow. There is almost always mention of light--brighter than the sun. The light is almost like fire--no, this isn't Hell--this is Heaven. We often hear about the pearly white gates--there is also mention of the streets having the appearance of gold. Jesus said that there are many mansions there and the scriptures tell us that God lives in a glorious Temple there. Besides that, Heaven is said to defy all description. It is the most wonderful place you can imagine--that is why we should try to get there!

I think - and that's all I can do - that Heaven looks like whatever I want it to at the moment. If I want it to look like Nickel City, it will, complete with all the games, and I have thousands of quarters. If I want it to look like New York City, and I want to be in a Broadway show, I can be. That's Heaven to me.

Heaven is more of a state than a place. Heaven in to be with Jesus Christ. There is nothing better than that!

Whatever you want it to look like. If it is all clouds and harps it sounds like hell to me. I would think of heaven as a place where you would be totally happy and free. Not stuck on a cloud listening to the same instrument for eternity.

Bright Light! Shining like the sun
that you can't look upon
street of white gold, see through crystal
It looks a lot like earth, tree's , flowers, rivers
fountains, no more sea, God's temple in the midst, so high you won't be able to see around it or above it, the Kings of the earth
bring their glory into it, gates made of one pearle, made of precious stones and pure gold, clear as crystal..........
fruit , 12 kinds of each side of the river for the healing of the nations
we can't comprehend the beauty of it
we are mere humans...................

In Luke 23:43, Jesus declared, "Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise" (Luke 23:43). The word Jesus used for paradise is paradeisos which means "a park, that is, (specifically) an Eden (place of future happiness, paradise)". Paradeisos is the a Greek word taken from the Hebrew word pardes which means "a park: - forest, orchard" (Strong's). Jesus said "Today you shall be with Me "en paradeisos" not "en nephele" which is Greek for in clouds. The point being that Jesus picked and used the word for a park. Not just any park but "the paradise of God" or park of God (Revelations 2:7) which for us will be a place of future happiness.
