When i use something containing benzole peroxide, or clindamindicin for spot on zit treatment it always makes my face too dry, but if i use a moisturizer it makes my skin too oily..and sometimes it's even more odd because my forehead will feel oily but wont look oily, as well as along the sides of my nose, while around my mouth i'll have really dry skin. Any help or suggestions on facial products is much appreciated.
Thanks!

I have a similar problem when I use benzoyl peroxide treatments. I use a gentle moisturizer like Clinique's basic moisturizer (yellow lotion) or something else for sensitive skin like Neutrogena Oil-Free for sensitive skin.

Place a small drop on the fingertips of one hand & rub w/ other hand then apply a very light layer by tapping it on rather than rubbing it in.

don't use acne treatments with benzoyl peroxide use ones with salycilic acid instead. Benzoyl because it's such a harsh chemical will dry out the skin and sometimes make it red. use one that is similar to this because this is what I use. http://cgarcia1.qbeautyzone.com/products/product.aspx?itemno=EE0176
and as for a cleanser, toner and moisturizing make sure you are using the right skin type. you may be normal-to-oily so use ones for this skin type. you should also be using some kind of exfoliation. which takes away your dry skin (dead skin cells) they renew every 13-15 days so exfoliate 1 or 3x a week depending on your instructions. if you have sensitive skin use less. i want to also suggest a face mask. which absorbs the oil on your face. ANOTHER THING IS TO CLEANSE, TONE AND MOISTURIZE TWICE A DAY NEVER MISS A DAY. CLEANSING TAKES AWAY OIL, DIRT AND MAKEUP BUILD UP WHICH CLOGS YOUR PORES. AND TONING CLOSES YOUR PORES. AND WIPES AWAY WHAT THE CLEANSER COULD NOT REMOVE. AND MOISTURIZING HYDRATES YOUR SKIN. YOU NEED TO USE FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE. SO YOU DON'T GET THIS PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU REALLY DO FIND SOMETHING. THIS IS WHAT I USE AND MAYBE YOU CAN GET SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THIS http://cgarcia1.qbeautyzone.com/products/product.aspx?itemno=E5018 MY FACE IS OIL FREE FOR 12 HOURS. AINT THAT COOL?

Over the years, I have found that the best moisturizer is Oil of Olay or products that have been manufactured by them, but sold under a different brand name (such as Equate, in Walmart--though, Walmart has started to stop selling these). It is a lighter moisturizer, and its specifically a face moisturizer that has 15spf, that isn't goopy and it seems to do well on my skin. Now, this product or product line might not work for you, since you may have a different skin type. But, you should continue to try different products (samples) to find the one that goes well with your skin.

I use to have skin problems that would arise quite often. I've personally found that using ANYTHING from the "alba" line has worked wonders for my skin. It contains mostly natural & organic ingredients that calm the skin and deliver antioxidents which help fix damage already done to the skin. It is priced fairly well too.
Another thing that had helped me with skin problems is drinking green tea. I don't know why, but whenever I drink it my skin looks more radient and has a lot less break-outs!
Good luck!!

Sounds like you have combination skin. You need Water-base products. Use Lotion instead of cream moisturizer. Use cleanser, toner and moisturizer twice a day. Use a collagen mask once weekly. Hope this help.

Use a gentle exfoliant before you go outside. Your skin collects more dirt every day than you would believe which clogs up your skin thus making it oily. but dont over exfoliate, your face will really look dry and cracked. use a mild noxema. and PLEASE dont scrub hard.
