Tylenol is fine. If 1 of the 500mg's will help her then she should take it. I was told that 2 extra strength Tylenol were ok, but if she could take less and get relief she might as well. There are quite a few things that are ok to take. Just tell her to give her doctor a call and ask.

Its perfectly safe to take 2 tylenol at a time every for hours. Dont take more then 8 in a days that goes for everyone not just pregnant women. Its more then your liver can take. Its the only thing pregnant women and can take and some times it barely touches the pain but atleast it does that.

I would take nothing unless I've consulted a doctor or the pharmacist. May I recommend some peppermint oil or burn a peppermint scented candle... this will help her relax... and caffeine free peppermint tea will also help. I just never took anything without a doctor knowing while I was pregnant.

I would be cautious even when the medication is doctor-approved.

When my mom was breastfeeding my little sister, she became ill, and a doctor told her that some generic brand would be alright. Well, the medication in fact greatly reduced her milk production for a limited time, and they had to unfreeze some milk to feed the baby.

Yes, it's fine. Tylenol is about all she can take being pregnant. Good luck with the baby.

I would not do it. I think Tylenol is a lot worse than people suspect. Put ice packs on her head.
