When I moved to Germany 13 years ago, I couldn't speak more than a few words and phrases of German. I took a class at an adult education center, which helped with grammar, and the rest I learned by reading books and magazines in German, and watching German movies. I'm sure you probably have access to English language TV and books or magazines. It also helps when you have no choice but to speak the language you are trying to learn. How long have you been learning English? Don't worry, it will happen after a time. Learning a foreign language is difficult, but you can do it if I can do it. :-)

My friend, i have same problem as you are when it comes to writing english. The only that i can tell you is this, keep talking in english, and write in english that is the only way. Also to read some book how to write properly.

Can you try to learn a little at a time? If you don't have to rush once you get it then you can speed up the pace as you want to. Practice makes perfect. Maybe just try to learn the basics (really really well) and then go from there.

Watch some of the PBS shows for children. That is the easy way. Or get books on tape and listen to them, simple books and work up.

sing
you learn grammar anyway without trying.
even though some songs are not 100% grammaticly correct.
NO ONE is correct 100% of the time without looking like a geek
songs will teach you the PROPER way to
speak to ordinary people....
and if you like the song... you wont get bored.
