She was fine yesterday but today since the morning she started making noises like she has something stuck in her throat, but nothing comes out. We tried pressing her stomach but I dont know what to do now. That didnt seem to work and I thought that it was going to go away but she is still with that all day long. She also threw up white stuff, Does anyone have any idea waht might be happening to her? She ate fine and drank water too, she doesnt look sick, but she is constantly making that choking noise. She is an outside dog.

Sounds like kennel cough to me. They will act like they are chocking, and white bile is coughed up sometimes. Most times they will get over it in time, but an antibiotic might hasten the healing. If you have other dogs, might as well figure on them getting it as well as it is highly contageous.

Your dog needs to go to the vet right away.
If it has come to the point where your dog is coughing so hard that it is throwing up, you need to take her in immediately. Dogs get bronchial infections very easy and very fast. It makes them sound like they are choking. It could also be swollowing something that is stuck in her esophagus. No matter what it is, this is very dangerous. She needs a chest x-ray done as soon as you can get her to the vets. If you do not take care of this immediately, you risk her getting pneumonia or lung / bronchial damage, non of these are really curable in animals like they are in humans.
Call your vet, ask them but please follow through with being a responsible pet owner!

Get her to the vet now if she continues to vomit, an emergency vet if one is available, for a barium swallow to be sure she did not swallow something that has blocked her intestines. I have a Bull Terrier that had the same symptoms that was caused by her getting into the garbage and she swallowed a corn cob that blocked her intestine. I took her to the emergency clinic at 2:00 AM and they said if I had waited she would not have made it. It took surgery to remove it. I don't want to scare you but it came to $3000.
Then again she might be like my Beagle, another hound, who has an eating and drinking problem. He eats and drinks so fast he gets sick like you describe all the time. It goes away in a while.

As I read these answers, I keep reading the "take it to a vet" thing. I want to say this: "Money issues".
T_T How sad! White stuff? Maybe it is worms. I think she is choking on worms or white dog slobber. It may also be foam, like what rabid dogs have. Anyways, the white stuff could be anything! But one things certain: she is dying!

Take her to the vet! Yes dogs can have hiccups but they usually go away soon like humans, so take her to the vet, she may have a digestive system problem that needs attention.

Take her to the vet ASAP in the morning! Poor baby, she must be in agony!

If there is an ASPCA or SPCA hospital in your city, call them, they probably have 24 hour service.

Poor dog - with an owner who'd rather waste time asking questions in a forum than get it the help it needs.
