you could try eating food with less salt. water is good for any body.

Not the way you want it to. Not everyone is salt sentitive, but there is still a limit to how much one can consume on a daily basis and no amount of water can compensate for overdoing it.

You have to drink lots and lots to make up for it. Your body will eventually rid itself of the excess Sodium. So eat on but drink about 3 Liters (about 12 cups) the day you're going to splurge :) Hope this helps!
