I need to find a car not too far from Beaumont, Texas under $1000. It's also mandatory that it be an economy car otherwise i cannot afford the gas. I'm desperate for a reliable, safe ride so I can finally get to work without hitching a ride. Where can I find one? Please help me!

look in the local newspaper wants ads. Try Craigslist. tyr ebay, look at used car lots and ask the saleman. They know where the old and cheap cars are located.

I just bought a bargain Ford Laser off Ebay for $900. Also, with my previous car I found it on the noticeboard at the supermarket for $500 and it lasted for 3 years. You can also put a "wanted" ad on the noticebaord and it is usually free.
