It will depend on many things. I would take your design to a few different artists. I got my eye of horus on my neck that is medium sized done for $35 which was the shop minimum. So artist charge by how long it will take to do plus add more for each color used and how hard the design will be. It all depends. I would definately go to a few different shops. I will only have one person do my tats I don't trust anyone else. Also you may want to look at some of their work before you make your final decision.

it depends on where you go. not every place charges the same. my artist does not charge more for color, nor does he charge by size. he charges by the hour, you are paying for his time and talent. the best way to find out how much a tattoo will cost is to consult with the shop or artist where you will be getting tattooed.

Yes size, colours and detailing of the actual tattoo is what the cost is based on. So you go visit a reputable tattoo place and ask the cost. They usually have albums of work they do, or have done. Have fun !

Depends on the store sweetie, give them a call to find out. Or better yet, stop by a store yourself and check out their tats. I have 8 tats and they weren't cheap. I will just say you get what you pay for. I have friends that went the "cheap" route and they have horrible, fading tattoos and Ive had mine for years with no problems. Do your research. Find a reputable establishment. Dont go over your friends house and let their brother tat you up in the basement..lol.

But yea there is no set price for any tattoo. Each place is different so do your research and again, find a reputable place.

The price is usually determined by the size, the color and the intricacy of the tattoo. Mine is a chiense symbol about 3 inches by 3 inches plain black and was $60.

As everyone else has said it depends on size and detail, but also because of these things it is more dependent on the amount of time it takes to do it. When I got mine done, the artist basically charged me about $100/hour, which I've been told is about average.

Size and difficulty...typically size, though... I think the least expensive will run you about $75-$100 for anything about 2 inches or smaller...

When I had mine done they used squares. The more squares the tattoo filled the higher the price.
