Oh I know where you are coming from, for years I was totally obsessed with my weight and calorie intake and what people were thinking everytime they looked at me.. or if they didn't look at me! I suffered bulimia for 4 years and have been in recovery 18 months now, recovery was the hardest thing I have ever done. Eating disorders are mental disorders that affect the way you think about yourself, sounds like you may be struggling with that as well. Read some info off this site, it contains information about different eating disorders, statistics, stories about other people, nutritional information etc, great source!

Most importantly, find someone you can confide in, and try to get some help, not medicine to cover it up, but real help. Find things to consume your time that you enjoy doing, especially in the beginning fases of correcting your thinking, finding things to pre-occupy your mind can be soo helpful. Try to focus on getting healthy not getting skinny. If you keep telling yourself this over and over, it will start to think in. When you eat something eat something healthy and nutritious and remind yourself when you eat, why your eating it "to get healthy" you have to eat to be healthy and you have to make sure your eating enough. That site I gave you above has info on how many MINIMUM calories you should consume daily. I'm only 22 years old and have suffered many many health problems due to thinking I am such a cow... oh boy :) I just want to encourage you that with time and proper care, your mindset can change but it's not going to be easy. Best of luck to you, it's hard but you can do it :)

Actually, your BMI (body mass index) suggests that you're slightly underweight. BMI is not always 100% accurate, especially if you're genetically inclined to have a smaller frame.
Don't worry; you're definitely far from being overweight. Just make sure that you are eating a healthy diet, and that you are exercising a few times a week (3 or 4 should be good for you, since you are not working on weight loss).
If you want to tone up a little and you have access to a gym, try doing some light resistance training. Don't worry; you won't bulk up; just go for higher reps using lighter weights.

I felt the same way. but now i am FAT after my pregnancy and Im trying so hard to lose the weight. people may say it matters who you are inside but take this from a fat person. No one cares who u r in the inside because alot of people r so quick to judge and when you get fatter the world around you gets meaner. People always blame things on the media but its usually the people around you telling you ur fat.

There is no need to be obsessed with anything. Eat healthy and set a reasonable goal for yourself. Allow yourself to gain a few pounds and as you go thru life, keep that goal. If you are approaching it, then you need to either cut back on your intake and/or increase you activities.

Its some time hard to make your body perfect the way you want it. What is most important thing in this world is who you are inside. But at the same time you can be whoever you want to be. If you want to be fit, eat goodies, and train hard. Consult a professionals, not Yahoo.

I feel that same way sometimes.
Just remeber that you don't have to be thin to be pretty.
A lot of overly skinny people look discusting.
Be happy with who you are.
You were made just fine.
