Milder than you are use to in winter unless you are from the pacific. Temperatures will range from 5 degrees to 25 degrees in the areas you are visiting any colder would be exception not the rule and the lower end is night only. Remember in Australia we operate on Celcius not farenheit so as you can see quite mild compared to most European or American cities in winter months. You will just require warm clothing and a warm jacket would be advisable don't worry too much about a lot of really heavy clothes jeans and jumper is generally fine with jacket at night or in the wind. There will be no snow anywhere you are going. Make sure you pack a couple of t-shirts as middle of the day in the sun can still be comfortably warm.

In Melbourne, the weather will be approximately 19 degrees (plus or minus about 4 degrees) in Mid-June, with cold mornings and evenings. It may rain, and it's Murphy's law that it will rain when you're here, even though we're in a decade long drought..
In Sydney i believe it is much the same, however the rainfall (although with less days of rain than Melbourne) tends to be greater..
Brisbane and the Gold Coast will be nicer, however, they are tropical SO you will get warmer temperatures (mid to high 20s) but it will be more thundery when it rains.
