Pros and cons. Yep....there will be many.
Personal experience.....I have smoked marijuana daily since 1971. Sure...it may cause temporary memory loss...but I still can recall nearly all things that were etched in my memory since before starting smoking. And...after 35 years of use, my health is in good order (annual physicals) as it has always been. I do (and have for years) take vitamins daily. Along with herbal suppliments. It has been many years since I have even had a common cold. I'm not saying that everyone who indulges would have the same results....but...I'm saying that the old saying...'it fries your brain'....is a bunch of BS. Proof is in the pudding. I just retired from running a fairly large private company. In no way has marijuana affected any of my business decisions. In fact...I applaude the fact that I have been able to make major business decisions without a crutch to rely on (ie. I was so high....or...I forgot....or...),,,,get my point?. But....I will admit....there are some people that could not operate anything....while they are 'high'. So....my heartfelt advice is this. See what your limits are. Then...procede with caution. Test the waters...so to speak. And...as for the health issues........at this point in my life....I say....BS. After 35 years of daily use.....my health is good....my relationship with my wife and family is good, I have all of my memory left....AND....I enjoy getting a good 'buzz'. It both relaxes and calms me. Seems like I remember a recent article in a national publication that showed that stress KILLS. Wow. Marijuana keeps 'stress' out of my life. Damn........nuff said.
Comments welcome.
(but....be advised....After this long....I ain't quitting.....no matter what kind of evidence you have to the contrary).

Anger issues -- because I was so mellow when I was high, whenever I WASN'T high, I felt very angry and tense even though in general I'm much more of a non-confrontational and easy-going person. General apathy -- If you enjoy getting high enough, you'll start weighing it against other things that take any kind of effort, like hanging out with friends or going to work, which can make you really lazy.
