Personally, I love pugs. They have lots of personality, and are very amusing. They are very loving too, and will do anything to make you laugh. Mine (her name is Jello) meows, and crawls on her belly for attention. They are also very smart, great with kids, and easy to train (provided you have a supply of treats- they'll do ANYTHING for food)

Well I prefer a breeder. The breeder picking out the puppy for you is not necessarily a bad thing. The breeder is more likely to make a better decision than an excited buyer (no offense). I prefer puppies because they are like a clean slate and don't get the chance to develop behavioral issues. Now I know MANY people are going to give me crap about this, but I don't really see the need to neuter a purebred dog IF it is properly contained, trained, and taken care of. If you plan on showing your dog or entering it in agility, many people would like to use your dog to mate with their *****. Now you should ONLY breed if your dog is healthy, has proper tests done, and is a champion in agility and conformation. I don't even think neutering is a must if you just want your dog as a pet, although man shelters say differently, dogs can be much healthier when not neutered. Of course there are pros and cons to both, but at least wait to neuter your dog until AFTER he/she is done growing. Ok that was a long rant. In short, I prefer breeders, but a rescue is always great :)

I hope you're joking but in case you're not then you sound racist and more. Why did you have to mention your girlfriend is colored? What does that have to do with her preference of a dog over a cat? And you have a wife and a girlfriend on the side??? hmmm, you sound like a dog to me so your problem is solved

Decide if you want to be with your wife, or your girlfriend... You can't have both.. Then which ever you choose, that's the pet you get..
OR they both kick you to the curb, and wife gets the cat, and girlfriend get a dog.. And you got the boot!
Why would we care that your girlfriend was ' colored' ?? What bearing would that have on your idiotic question?

Any puppy that has a gentle and calm attitude would be ok. You may want to check at the local shelter.
NOW while I have no say in how you live your life, I must ask. (1) Does your wife know about your girlfriend ? AND (2) What difference does it make as to what her skin color is ?

Ummmm....unlike the common wide misconception, smaller dogs are harder to deal with. They bark and bite more than the other breeds (with the exception of pitbulls and Doxson). A Border Collie is a great dog to start with...it's easy to deal with and you can have fun with it (take it to the park and stuff), but one of the most easiest dogs to maintain is a weiner dog. Personally, I like Cheasepeake Bay Retreivers or Chocolate Labrador Retreivers, but you can pick what you want.

Does your wife know your cheating? And what does her being "colored" have anything to do with owning a pet?
