I hope you dont buy Ol'Roy. That is the crappiest dog food ever. So is Iams, Eukanuba and Science Diet.

Anyway, only certain 'bar code numbers' are on the recall.

Here is Ol'Roy US WET food (not dry).. http://www.menufoods.com/recall/Dog/Ol'Roy%20US_040507.htm

If you look at the chart .. if it has the UPC number or Date on the bottom .. then THAT is whats on recall. The ones in the store are probably made after those dates/before those dates.

Incase you DO use Ol'Roy, look into a more organic/healthier dog food with NO wheat/by products or fillers like Innova, Blue Buffalo, TimberWolf Organics, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul or Canidae.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: Wow, no need to yell. Dry food isnt on the recall list because it wasnt effected, plain and simple.

I could not find Olroy kibble on a recall list. However, the FDA noted last week that not all stores are in compliance with the recall lists. I would exercise caution about where I shop for pet food these days. Also, if the food has wheat gluten in it at all -- I would not buy it.

The dry food isn't on recall. Also the recalled food was made during certain dates. Any food made outside those dates can still be on shelves.

That said, Ol'roy is not a very quality food and I wouldn't feed or recommend it, recall or not.

You need to check the recall list which you can find by googling for a link...there are a lot of brands of food listed, they're saying it's mostly wet food and pouches, but so that you may feel completely safe with what you feed your dog check the recall list yourself...

Even if Ol'Roy dry is not recalled, it is still worthless and not good for your dog.

Read below for what ingredients you should avoid in your dog food, and an explanation of why.

Go down the list and look for the food you feed, or are thinking of feeding, your dog.

Hope this helps!

Ol'Roy is the cheapest most worthless crap in a bag or can that you could drop in your dog's bowl. I wouldn't feed it to my feeder mice.
It has meat that might have been diseased or rotten, road kill and it mostly worthless grain scraps that didn't somehow make it to the trash can.
Can you tell i don't have a very high opinion or this do food?
Try spending a little more money and buy you beloved pet something that will keep it healthy and not cost you a bundle in vet bills later after years of eating the dog food equivalent of a Twinkies.

The can dog food in pouches yes. But the ol'roy dry dog food isn't that I know of. Yes we know you said dry food we are simply telling you that the wet food was but not the Dry food. The dry food is safe as far as i know cause its not on the list of foods recalled.

Not all Ol' Roy has been recalled. Wal-mart has pulled any recalled items from the shelves, and blocked them from their cash registers so that even if you were to get something that's recalled they can't sell it.
