Yes, as they both share linguistic roots, making their grammar structure and vocabulary quite similar; it's just the Portuguese pronunciation that might be a little harder, because it includes sounds that are pronounced differently from the written words (this doesn't happen in Spanish).

Yes, I am from Spain. I moved to New Jersey, to an area where many Portuguese people live.
In one year, I mastered the Portuguese language. If you speak Spanish, Portuguese is not hard at all.

Yes, it is very easy to learn. I did the opposite way, I learnt Spanish by myself. The first time I saw Spanish, seemed to me misspelled Portuguese.
Someone showed me a very elucidative article in Wikipedia comparing both languages. Why don't you see this? See the link bellow

Yes. Portuguese is very similar to Spanish which makes it easier.

Pode ser, mas saiba que o idioma espanhol difere bastante do brasileiro. Eu arranho um pouco, falo o que se chama por aqui "portunhol", mistura dos dois idiomas. A gente se entende, mas falando bem devagar, porque eles falam muito depressa. Quanto ao seu idioma, sorry, my English is frightul! Yf you please, help me.
