yeah cause you got nothing to do the next day and maybe overwhelmed from the week before. And your tired from having too many hours of sleep.

I sleep a lot on the weekends, so I feel I am a pro on this issue. I feel as though, when I sleep longer than usual or at times that I'm not used to, I am more tired during the day. The best way thing to do is to keep yourself on a schedule. Or if you're like me, allow yourself to have "lazy weekends" where you are allowed to be tired and get nothing done!

It is usually better to maintain a regular sleep cycle, going to bed and getting up at the roughly the same time every day. It's the change in hours, and the number of hours you are sleeping, that's causing you to feel tired.
Although I think that being on break, staying out late with friends and having fun can sometimes be worth the "hit" of disrupting your sleep cycle. You'll be fine within a few days of returning to normal.

Yeah, it's normal. You get out, you want to party or stay up and watch tv - get some YOU time for once, and then you sleep late. I need ten hours myself.
And then you're extra tired. Your bed may be uncomfortable, or there may be noise disturbing your sleep. Sunday night, two hours before you want to go to sleep to get up at your regular time, take some Melatonin. It's over the counter. It's a chemical your brain makes that helps you sleep. Only take it when you know you need it.
That should be enough, but if you need more write to me privately. I can give you a relaxation exercise etc.

Any change in pattern can cause this. If you really want it to go away, go to sleep and wake up at the *same time* always - school break or not.
From experience, it is possible to get a headache from 'oversleeping' or sleeping more then you normally do.

My sleep pattern problems may be due to an unexpected sleep apnea problem, or fluctuations in my blood sugar. Find out if you snore. If you do, get to an ENT and get checked out for things that could be causing sleep apnea. Even skinny people can have it, and even young people can have it.
Regarding blood sugar fluctuations, there is some info at www.hufa.org.

your better off trying to sleep at the same time every night and get the same amount of sleep everynight...that doesn't always work out but if you do you would feel better. I think too much sleep throws your whole body clock off. sometimes too much sleep is worse than less

Weird but true....
Your body is over dosed on sleep that's why its tired.
Try to sleep no more them 8-9 hours.

Do you wake up with a dry mouth? When you wake up, do you feel sweaty especially your head? You may have sleep apnea like I do.
