There is nothing on the market to treat ear infections. A vet can take a swab of the inside of your dogs ear and look at it under a microscope to determine what is going on in there. Sometimes it's a yeast infection that might need different medications.
Your best bet is to get over to the vet and have his/her ears looked at.
Good luck!!

you really need to have the vet examine the ears to see what it is specifically you will be treating. Ear problems generally require treatments at home after the vet gets the dog started. There are many possibilities as to what the problem could be and you will need to know what you are dealing with to use the most appropriate medicine.

I think what you need to do is have the vet determine what kind of infection is going on in the ear.

Is it bacterial?

Is it yeast?

Different infections require different couses of action.

Routine cleaning can help cut down the problems with ears.

Dermapet (malacetic acid) is wonderful..clean out the ears once a week at the least and you should be good to go.

Your baby is likely going to need something like bayrtil synotic or tresiderm along with daily cleaning until it is cleared up

Good luck

Go to your vet and have it treated and then while there talk to your vet. Some breeds with floppy ears are prone to ear problems due to moisture in their ears. My vet had me use over the counter ear drops once a week to keep her ears cleaned and lessen the chance of infections so you might ask yours about that as well...

Ear infections are sometimes tough to treat.. You need to make sure it is gone entirely or you will be fighting with it forever.. You don't know if it's an infection, or if it's yeasty ears, ear mites.. etc.. Best to get a proper diagnosis from the vet and treat the ears properly.

I am not sure if the pink-red color you refer to, describes the discharge from the ear , or if it is the tissues of the inner ear you are talking about.

In any case, your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible.

Doing home treatments without a definitive diagnose will likely just prolong the problem! ( Deafness could result if this problem is not resolved in a timely manner). One needs to know exactly what is wrong before attempting any home-treatments.

except you have a real previous family contributors pink nostril American Pit Bull Terrier (OFRN APBT) your dogs is entirely a ginger pit with a purple-ish nostril. Cropping a dogs's ears any later than 2-3 months could be somewhat painful. attempt squeezing your very own ear, sense that? Its cartilage. even dogs with floppy ears have some. by fact that pit bulls have ears that fold, no longer flop, they have so lots greater effective than maximum. Cartilage would not react properly to being decrease. the greater youthful the puppy is whilst it had its ears cropped, the softer the ear cartilage is and the less difficult it truly is for it to heal. in case you do it too previous due, the cartilage could develop surprisingly and you will finally end up with choppy and lumpy edges to the ears. i've got seen pit bulls with chop-jobs...its no longer tremendously.

I have a cocker spaniel with chronic ear infections. Take your dog to a vet so it can get ear drops or an antibiotic. It won't clear up on its own.
