I think it used Pillsbury biscuits but am not quite sure. Please help, this was a family favorite.

Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon

3 cans (7.5 oz. each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 to 2 Tbsp. milk


PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl; set aside. Cut each biscuit into quarters; roll in cinnamon-sugar. Place half of the biscuit pieces in greased 12-cup fluted tube pan; drizzle with half of the butter. Top with remaining biscuit pieces, then drizzle with remaining butter. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar.

BAKE 40 to 45 min. or until golden brown. Cool in pan 5 min.; invert onto serving plate.

BEAT cream cheese and powdered sugar in small bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add 1 Tbsp. of the milk; beat until well blended. Beat in enough of the remaining milk until glaze is of desired consistency. Drizzle over warm bread. Serve warm.

Pull Apart Cinnamon Bread


Ingredients
1 2/3 cups granulated sugar, divided
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
4 8oz packages refrigerator biscuits, regular and quartered
3/4 cup butter, melted
Raisins and nuts: optional

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a bowl that has a lid, combine cinnamon, 2/3 cup sugar; drop biscuit quarters in the bowl and put the lid on. Give the bowl a few shakes until well coated. In a small bowl, combine remaining sugar and melted butter. Place half of the coated biscuit quarters in a greased tube pan. Sprinkle with nuts and raisins. Pour half of the sugar and butter over biscuits and repeat with another layer. Bake for 40 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.

MONKEY BREAD

4 pkgs. Pillsbury rolls (not buttermilk)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cinnamon
1/2 lb. butter
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar

Separate rolls and cut each into fourths. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cinnamon. Roll pieces in this mix. Melt butter and stir in 2 tablespoons cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar.
Grease Bundt pan. Place half of biscuits in pan, then half of melted mixture, then remaining biscuits and remaining melted mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn over pan and eat while warm. Pull apart with fingers.

MONKEY BREAD OR PULL APARTS

3/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter, melted
4 cans refrigerated biscuits

Cut biscuits in quarters. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll biscuit quarters in sugar mixture. Spray Bundt pan with Pam. Arrange biscuits in pan and pour melted butter over them. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

I think you just mix a lot of cinnamon with confectionery sugar and butter to make a great smelling filling. Then unroll a biscuit and slather on the mixture. Roll up the biscuits and put them in a pan with their edges touching. Bake as per the biscuit directions. I don't think you really need a formal recipe as long as you have eaten them before - you know what the filling tastes like and it is the only missing ingredient so go for it and improvise.

not sure if this is what your looking for but I do remember a recipe I made back in grade school in cooking class. We took the canned biscuits and rolled them in butter then cinnamon and sugar. Baked them in a round cake pan not sure of the temperature. But they were great.

Original recipe yield:

READY IN 1 Hr

INGREDIENTS
3 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup raisins

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 or 10 inch tube pan.
Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. Arrange pieces in the bottom of the prepared pan. Continue until all biscuits are coated and placed in pan. If using nuts and raisins, arrange them in and among the biscuit pieces as you go along.
In a small saucepan, melt the margarine with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the biscuits.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Do not cut! The bread just pulls apart.

Butterscotch Pudding Monkey Bread

Ready in: 1-2 hrs
Difficulty: 3 (1=easiest :: hardest=5)
Serves/Makes: 8

Ingredients:
1 package (3-1/2oz.) Cook and Serve Butterscotch Pudding Mix,NOT INSTANT
3/4 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup finely chopped Pecans
1/2 cup Butter, melted
3 tubes regular sized refrigerated Biscuits

Directions:

In plastic bowl with tight fitting lid, combine pudding mix, sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Pour butter into shallow bowl. Cut biscuits into quarters. Dip several pieces into butter, then place in a bowl with dry ingredients, replace lid and shake. Start lining a 10" greased Bundt pan with coated biscuit pieces. Continue doing in batches until they are all piled on top of each other in Bundt pan. You mat need to melt a little more butter to finish up biscuit pieces. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes, they should be golden brown. Cool in pan 30 minutes. Place large cake like dish over Bundt pan and invert. Before lifting pan off monkey bread, tap bottom of pan good all over the bottom. Lift gently off.

24 ounces frozen dinner roll dough

1 (3.4 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup melted butter

DIRECTIONS
The night or several hours before, grease and flour a 9 or 10 inch tube pan. Mix brown sugar and pudding mix together. Mix white sugar and cinnamon together. Place frozen dinner rolls in pan a layer at a time. Sprinkle brown sugar and pudding mix over first layer of rolls. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over the brown sugar and pudding mixture. Spread half the nuts and melted butter over first layer. Repeat with the next layer.
Place on counter over night. Do not cover. Next morning bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 30 minutes. Let stand a few minutes and turn pan over onto serving platter.
