human body has a unique mechanism.
human body releases digestive juices every 5 hrs and it is good to eat small quantity of food 5 times a day.(proper distribution in 5 parts of total intake)
fasting is giving total rest to digestive system.

Nope. You could eat 5 times daily, once daily, every other day, etc..... As a warm-blooded mammal you have to eat more often than cold-blooded organisms to maintain homeostatis. But, you still have very good fat, glucose and protein reserves. Now oxygen and water are far different. You need oxygen all the time. You can only live without oxygen for a few minutes before brain damage and death occur. You can go without water for only a few days-less in extreme heat or due to exertions. You can go without food for weeks-although you will get weaker and weaker.

no, its not necessary , the thing is , one must have atleast that much food a day so that he/she can fulfill the energy requirement of body
having balanced food one time a day is sufficient
but if u do hard work then u need energy during that work and after the work , so u can hav food sumtimes more than thrice

No, it is recommended though. It depends on your habit anyway. (I only eat twice or once a day)
