The seven seals are seven judgements of God on all those left on the earth after the church is raptured.
1st--the conquerer, antichrist is revealed (he rules by deception)
2nd-- war (peace taken from the earth)
3rd--famine
4th--death, by hunger, the sword and beasts of the earth; 1/4 of the population will die
5th--martyrdom (those who accept Christ during Tribulation)
6th--great earthquake unlike any the world has ever seen
7th--silence in heaven; a prelude to the seven trumpet judgements; these cover the 2nd half of Tribulation

The antichrist has not yet been revealed, and won't be until after the rapture takes place. It is possible that he is alive somewhere even now. That depends on how close we are to the rapture, and the Tribulation period. I believe we are close.

The Antichrist

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

The seven seals can be found in The Revelation, and the anti-Christ has not made himself known yet. I don't know if he has been born yet or not. Here are the seven seals:
1: And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

2: And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

3: And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

4: And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

5: And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

6: And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

7: And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Dear Jennyann-
The answer to your first question is in the book of Revelation chapters 5-6.

In the Revelation which God gave to Christ, who communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John.
John sees God on the throne in heaven. He has a book written inside and on the back which is sealed up with seven seals. No one was found worhty to open the book and break it's seals except for Jesus.
One of the elders said to John here, that the Lion of thr tribe of Judah, the Root of David has overcome so as to open the book and its seals. John looks and sees Jesus as a Lamb standing as if slain . (notice how heaven views Jesus and how man views Him..)

The seals:
1.white horse with a rider who goes out conquering and to conquer
2. Red horse to the rider was granted to take peace from the earth
3. black horse with scales saying "a quart of wheat for a days wages and three quarts of barly for a days wages."
4. an ashen or sickly pale horse riden had the name Death and Hades was folloing him. & was given authority over 1/4 of the earth.
5th seal the souls under the altar (who had been slain because of the word of God) in heaven asked How long till our blood is avenged, and were given white robes and told to wait until their numbers were complete.
6th seal great earth quake - sun dark, moon like blood, stars fell, and the inhabitants of the earth say want to hide because they understand that the day of wrath has come and who is able to stand?
This in my opionion (at the 6th seal) is the start of the great tribulation.
At the breaking of the 7th seal there is silence in heaven for half an hour. this ushers in the violence that will happen on the earth during the great tribulation.

regarding the anti Christ - if he is here now, we wouldn't know. Read in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one in any way deceive your for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness (the antichrist) is revealed, the son of destruciton who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

hope this helps.

Revelations is a boogey man bedtime story told to the credulous to keep them in line with the church. It has nothing to do with Jesus. It reads much more like the Old Testament. It's unknown if the original author was devout or even Christian. It's about as close to mysticism as you can get in the New Testament and it probably shouldn't have been included in the Bible in the first place.

the antichrist is the beast who was and is not, yet is. always someone to take his place, the pope. one of his titles is, "vicarivs filii dei", written in roman numerals which add up to 666. it is well documented at biblelight.net.

The Antichrist will be the head of the revived Roman Empire, the modern day European Union. He very likely is alive on planet earth waiting for his destiny to be birthed.
