I was watching a special on people with psychic abilities and it sparked my own interest. I've been in situations where I listen or don't listen to the voice in my head or don't follow my intuition and later I realize that alll along I knew what the outcome would be. For example, while sleeping this morning I had a dream of tornados. When I woke up I got up and opened my curtain to find that it was cloudy. When I went to the weather channel website I discovered that we were under a tornado watch. Is this mere coincidence or what?

I believe everyone has psychic abilities, it's just that some people are more aware of them and/or willing to listen to them than others. For most people the problem is that they are conditioned to believe that their intuitions can't be real, so they discount them. For some very good information on this, I suggest reading "Are You Really Too Sensitive?" by Marcy Calhoun

Yep. Either a coincidence or someone had mentioned it the day before and you've forgotten. There's no such thing as psychic ability.

Think about it this way. Any scientist will tell you it's all in your head, that there's no such thing as psychics. Any good scientist, anyway. But people have been claiming psychic ability for thousands of years. If even ONE of them could have ever shown their ability to a scientist, we'd have a whole new field of science. Heck, they could do it today and win the Nobel prize. But they never have, because when you take away the option of cheating or guessing at random, they have nothing left, whether they know it or not.

I don't consider myself psychic or anything like that, but I think I may be a little clairvoyant and I tend to have a whole crap load of deja vu. Like just last wednseday, I was watching the show Medium and that episod was brand new but I knew eveything that would happen and I felt like I had seen it before when that would have been impossible.
As for the tornado thing, it sounds like you live where there are tornadoes and you have tornado seasons so it may just be that.

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

the reason ppl think they know things in advance is bcoz of the 'energy' field that we feel... so to speak.
and i read somewhere that we can actually 'train' ourselves to be able to become what ppl call 'psychic'.
our brain receive information exactly like a radio receives the radio channels... waves.
so if our brains are trained to receive 'outer' waves, then we are able to foresee, or whatever ppl like to call like the Deja-Vu.
and pls dun laugh if i say it works lesser if you're around electronic stuff... there's this thing call INTERFERENCE.
cheerio!

It's probably just Deja Vu. Too much of it can feel kind of like you are psychic, I have A LOT of Deja Vu... and it gets creepy sometimes.

No, I am not delusional.

And you know that storm worked it's way across the whole US. It really wouldn't have been that big a deal to have heard about it ahead of time.

Those experiences can seem weird, but think about all the times when you dream something and it DOESN'T come true. It only registers in your mind when it happens; when it doesn't, you don't even think about it.
