I'm not sure if i spelled the names right but here's an amazing story of a dog that went throught a simular situlaition like shadrack meshack and abendigo. At a local pound to put dogs asleep they put 15-17 dogs in a room and gas them. They have done this for ten years and every time the dog died except one recently lifed this is the first time any dog has surived. When we heard of this we adopted this dog. so which name sounds better shadrack meshack or abendigo? also this dog has a bad cough what can we do to stop it and it needs to get more fat how can i get it fatter?

This is the verse you are seeking: "Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel [the name] of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego."

My suggestion? Call the dog each of them and see which one fits and which one the dog will answer to. I like Abednego, but it doesn't roll off the tongue easily ... if you say Shadrach then everyone will know who you are talking about.

The cough is called kennel cough and should subside within a few weeks ... if not you need a vet.

Don't feed the dog people food pleeeeeeease!!! They can't handle it. Choose a food that is within your budget but is the highest quality that you can find and stick with it! No treats for the dog, unless you want to pour a bit of bacon grease on his food once in awhile.

Give it a lot of protein-based foods, like canned beef dog food, in order to help him gain some muscle and fat (make sure it has a fairly high fat content). Mix it with dry food so his teeth don't go bad.

Good story, I like shadrack, and sounds like kennel cough.
Feed him puppy chow.

When naming dogs, I've always heard that the shorter the name (syllables), the better.
Puppy food is high in fat.

The symbolism of all three names certainly fits but I really think you had best check the spelling. So long since i attended church i can't help you, but they don't seem right

How about their original Hebraic names, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah?
