It sounds like youre eating too many carbs. they will tend to make you hungry. tey eating more of, meats, and cheeses, and salads. with lots of water. not soda pop. this may help. Even so, If your still hungry, try brushing your teeth. It works!

Sorry if I don't get into all the 'new age' stuff about carbs this or that. The plain truth is you're hungry because your body isn't getting enough nutrition out of the food you're eating. This is true with most people.

It isn't that you are doing anything wrong. I'm sure you're picking what you believe to be great, healthy food. The problem is it's not. Todays grocery store items are a hodge-podge of chemicals and additives. The nutrients of the food have been destroyed in the 'processing'. You're body is starving for those nutrients it's being denied.

Another little nasty is MSG. Not the naturally occurring MSG found in nature, but the chemical stew MSG. It's addictive and it's everywhere in your food. It makes you crave what it's in..."I was shocked too. I went to my kitchen, checking the cupboards and the fridge. MSG was in everything: The Campbell's soups, the Doritos, the Lays potato chips, Top Ramen, Betty Crocker's Hamburger Helper, Heinz canned gravy, Swanson frozen prepared meals, Kraft salad dressings, especially the 'healthy low fat' ones.

The items that didn't have MSG marked on the product label had something called ''Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein'', which is just another name for Monosodium Glutamate. It was shocking to see just how many of the foods we feed our children everyday are filled with this stuff. They hide MSG under many different names in order to fool those who carefully read the ingredient list, so they don't catch on. (Other names for MSG: 'Accent', 'Ajinomoto', 'Natural Meet Tenderizer', etc).

Not only is MSG scientifically proven to cause obesity, it is an addictive substance! It makes people choose their product over others, and makes people eat more of it than they would if MSG wasn't added." There's so much more to know, I hope you'll look into it for yourself.

You can change this by selecting whole, natural foods (organics) to eat. There are great resources on line that can help you and they're free. The best would be The Weston Price Foundation...they have chapters all over the country.
Start small, maybe just buy a bag of organic apples and eat one after dinner and see if it doesn't make a big difference.
Good luck!

Someone already mentioned carbs and that is a possibility. It will make your blood sugar spike really high, and then drop quickly, this quick drop will make you hungry again.

As well, being dehydrated can make you hungry so try drinking a big glass of water and then waiting 1/2 hour.

If you are always very thirsty too, and urinate a lot it could also be diabetes as one of the symptoms is being hungry even right after eating.

Your body takes awhile before it realizes it is full. So you feel hungry, even though you just ate, and keep eating until you hurt. Another reason might be your metabolism. If your metabolism is high, you will process food a lot faster, which will make you hungry because it just digested the food you ate. Instead of eating food, just try to drink a lot of water [and food, of course] but when you feel hungry after you just ate, then drink water. It always makes me feel full. Hope this information helps your eating problem!

The problem could be psychological, the reason they have prescriptions for things like meridia, because your brain isn't sending the signal to your stomach that you are full. There are other physical reasons that you could still "feel" hungry. A side effect of an ulcer could be gnawing "hunger" like pains that you mistake for hunger. Diabetes is another disease that has your stomach sending the signals of hunger, something I found out through my sister when she was diagnosed and the doctor told her that it was a side effect. There are too many reasons, I would check with your doctor, because you need to find out what's causing it, emotional, mental or physical, before you can find out how to treat it. Good luck.

the only reason i think of is because you eat to fast, chew slowly and for a while before you swallow. plus wait for a while after your meal till you decide your hungry because you need to wait to your meal has digested, then decide.

I get the same way. I just go jogging, and by the time I get back home I'm too tired to be hungry.
