All piercings hurt to a certian extent.. had my ears done (5 times and streched to a 4.5), navel and nose... yet I'm still nervous about getting piercings. Mainly the pain =)
Most will say its the mixture of the build up/adrenalin that makes it worse xP
But yeah basically, what kind of pain is a lip piercing? and does it bleed? Any answers would be GREATLY thanked.

i have my lip pierced twice, and i also have other piercings. i would say that this is the least painful of all. and mine didnt bleed when they were pierced at all. one ended up bleeding a bit, but it was just cause i bit it on accident when it hadnt healed yet. if it is done right by a professional it shouldnt bleed at all, and be virtually painless. seriously. i felt almost no pain at all. good luck! they are the best facial piercing of all in my opinion.

Well, I pierced mine myself, and it didn't hurt at all, the first time, the second time it only hurt to break the first bit of skin and the last.
It bled a little for me but because it was a self done one.
Getting it professionally it won't.

And I do agree about the pent up adrenalin.
Think about your most painful experience while it happens and trust me it wont hurt at all.

I had mine done when I was younger than 1 years old...I do not remember back then but I am getting my second ones done.No it does not hurt and does not bleed.My friend recently got hers done for the 3rd time...you might feel a little nausius(sp?) but you will fine after a couple of minutes!!

I have 8 piercings, my lip being one, i dont think they hurt but...my lip was the least painful. All i felt was pressure as it went through

Not that I know from personal experience, but I've heard they hurt a lot. Make sure you really want one and will want one for life before getting it. I recommend the standard ones in the ears (one in each).

if you were able to pierce and stretch your ears, you will be able to handle this no problem. and 9 times out of 10, it doesnt bleed. you will be fine! good luck and enjoy your new piercing!!

it doesn`t hurt & no it doesn`t bleed...at least mine didn`t...
