All I ever see are questions asking why atheists reject Christianity. For some reason, no one ever asks why we reject Islam.

A question was asked just a few minutes ago, and the asker wanted to know why ANYONE--meaning everyone who is not Christian--would reject Jesus.

That seemed a little smug.

So I'm wondering what it is I've missed. When was God declared a Christian, and how do you know that he is?

God, by definition, must be an Atheist. And ironically enough, the people that created him said that we are made in his image.

If you think that is smug then allow me to say this....if you are not a Christian then you might as well be an atheist, whether you call yourself a Muslim, Buddhist, whatever....you fall into the group known as unbelievers and will share the same fate. Smug enough?

Jesus the Christ is/was fully God and fully man who died and rose again for the salvation of all His children. The term Christian is just a label given to believer's in Christ (body of Christ) of which Jesus is the head. God has declared that salvation and the forgiveness of sins is through the Son and only the Son.

The God of Abraham and Moses is what you are talking about I presume. The old testament is of those days. Sacrifices were done for forgiveness and worship of this God. God grew tired of the lack of sincerity in the hearts of men in these types of offerings. All God's greatest gifts to his people and the laws he gave, men perversed and the Jewish leaders condemned people trying to make an effort and were miss lead by the Leaders of the time. God's plan to come down to earth in human form and complete the prophesies he put in place 500 years ago, through Zachariah, that the Leaders of the time of Jesus knew were for-told. God's greatest gift to us all was His only Son , God in the flesh, to take full punishment and offer himself as the final perfect sacrifice , unblemished in every way, to end the old testament ways of forgiveness. In His death the spirit of Jesus ( Holy Spirit ) is given to all who accept Jesus as god in the flesh and what he did for us on the cross. God is Jesus Christ and is Christianity completed.

Who stated God was declared a Christian? A christian is one who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. So why would God have to accept himself?

God is spirit, Jesus came to earth to represent God, in the flesh, The Word became flesh. Jesus said the words He says are not His words but the Father's. If we believe on Christ, we are called after Him, CHRISTians.
