tough question. Human reproduction is only capable with its own species. But if evolution is true than more possibilities would be possible. If monkeys are so close to our evaluational tree then how come they are not biologically compatible for reproduction.
God's finger prints are on everything. If survival of the fittest is true then why do we have week species still among us. God created all things to need each other for survival. A balance even found in human relations. We need to coexist in a delicate balance in order to exist. It is a debate until Jesus comes back for us. The Proof you seek can only be found in the heart of a believer in faith that grows as your relationship with God develops into fact. Faith can not be destroyed by worldly pursuit of facts and science. Fact in the Lord is in the heart when touched by God in their walk with him for those who seek Him earnestly.

Ok there is a lot out there. Here is a link to Answers in Genesis Answers section, a good place to start. http://answersingenesis.org/home/area/qa.asp
The thing that you have to realize is that creationists and evolutionists all look at the same scientific data, they just interpret it differently because of their original beliefs. For example Creationists see the Grand Canyon and the fossil record and say it is all a product of the flood of Noah, Evolutionists cannot say for sure how fossils are created, why they are bunched the way that they are, and why there are some that are exactly like animals and plants living today (why didn't those things evolve?), but they are sure the answer must be millions of years. The evidence is there, it just depends on your perspective.
And unfortunately you are probably not going to convince a non believer to faith with this argument. You might be able to help someone if this is their stumbling block, but to win them solely on this, maybe not. To me, they have to be searching.
That said IMHO the best place to start would probably be Mt St Helens. Rocks that were SEEN forming tested millions of years old, a small canyon was formed, and many other evidences that creation does not take millions of years and dating techniques are inacurate. Here are some links to articles:
http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v6/i1/mtsthelens.asp
http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v23/i3/radiodating.asp
http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/cfol/ch3-neo-catastrophism.asp
Hope some of this is helpful. Also if your church is interested, we are finishing up a great set of classes on Creation Apologetics with a teacher called Steve Baird. He is and archeologist who was an atheist until 4 years ago who has the knowledge of both sides of the argument and can really teach the how the creation science can be used to refute much of the evolution science. We have had a great 10 classes and we have learned SO much. Here is a link to his web site http://evolutionontrial.com/
He can come and teach one class or several depending on the need of your church.
Best wishes on finding the answers you are looking for, I hope you can reach your friend.

communicate origins is an quite sturdy creation and grants a sturdy dissection of creationist claims and precisely why they're incorrect as properly as relating the info for evolution. the difficulty which you don't comprehend (and a significant factor for many human beings no longer accepting evolution) is that it does no longer in positive condition well into the college room technological expertise test the place you may relatively reveal the theory, i.e. drop 2 distinctive sized balls and see that they hit the floor on the comparable time. extra desirable, there is enormous quantities of analyze that has been performed, yet maximum of it has a tendency to be marvelous previous extreme college ranges. Dawkin's present day e book "the super teach in the international" may be a sturdy reference. The hyperlinks decrease than might desire to supplement others given to you. keep in mind, you may desire to examine the sources stated and double examine claims that are made. Be skeptical and purpose and don't settle for something at face fee or in basic terms through fact it sounds clever.

There are numerous web sites such as answers in Genesis, and others you can find by looking up creation science on your search engine. Also if you like books Lee Stroble's case for a creator and a case for faith, Jonathon Safarti's refuting evolution series. There are many books that any Christian bookstore can help you get. There is a lot of evidence for God in Science, history and archeology. Most non believers will not look honestly at the evidence as it would be saying that the possibility of God is there, and they will not do that. Science should be objective and go with where the evidence leads irregardless of the answer. But they admittedly will not look at anything that is not naturalistic.

Why this word evolution bothers you christians so much? I suppose you interpret evolution is denying God. Not necessarily. Evolution is no more a theory, its a fact.
For Gods sake observe the nature. With all the dollars of the world and with all the equipment, no scientist could ever produce a leaf from materials other than the seed. It grows from the seed, where in the whole lot of information is hidden - like color, shape, size, texture, taste, smell, medicinal values, etc. etc. The spirit in the seed executes all these things with pin pointed precision. Likewise in all living things, inanimate too.

The only "evidence" that creationists have are attacks on evolution, virtually all of which are unfounded.
You can have evolution without turning away from God. Evolution is a tool that God used and still uses. And in science, a theory is something that is supported by a body of evidence.
Oh, and contrary to what a lot of people will tell you, there ARE lots of transitional fossils. If you don't believe me, simply go to Google and type "list of transitional fossils" into the search box and hit enter.
There really isn't much of a debate regarding evolution vs creation. Very few scientists reject evolution, and the ones that do usually do not have adequate credentials.

This overall qualitative research study has as its purpose--”To discover the opinions of established scientists regarding the position of science in the United States today.
The overall study is broken down into sub-categories.
The scientists above are the respondents in the sub-category dealing with the controversy of evolution vs. creationism.
As the data is collected, categorized, and analyzed, it will be published in the form of short videos that play on You Tube.
Other sub-categories are: Abuse of Science, Separation of Church and State, Global Warming, Stem Cell Research, Human Sexuality, the media & democracy, and Authoritarianism.

Nothing, that is your problem. Showing someone a sacred text, aka the Bible, is insufficent evidence for a universe created by god. But science has the evidence and the proof, evolution though natural selection. Now I don't see why people can't say that god used evolution but then again, that wouldn't say much about his abilites. Of all the species that have existed on this planet, 99% of it is extinct. Evolution is a fact, the fact that god had anything to do with it, is fiction.

There is NO evidence of a creator.
Do look up the definition of 'theory'
You THINK that you know the truth but that is not the same as knowing. It's just your deluded opinion.
I wouldn't want to lead you away from your god but do keep such silliness to yourself or open yourself to ridicule.
God is imaginary - don't you get that yet? Are you six years old?
Nothing is out there to 'show' the non-believer or you wouldn't have to ask. Silly child!

God said shrimp are an abomination. He said your father can sell you into slavery to pay off gambling debts. He said you father can stone you to death if you swear at him. Have you even READ the bible? It's all there in the first few books. Honestly, why would you say something like that if you haven't even bothered reading that far?
Science catches up with theology? Theology is what they knew of science 2000 years ago. Back when they didn't know the Earth goes around the Sun or basic hygenine, much less modern medicine or cosmology. Or computers, cars, and cell phones. How come those aren't in the bible?
There is no proof of creation. But evolution has plenty of proof. Welcome to the year 2007. Please join us in reality at some point.
EDIT: bearedhead just said that god was trying to trick you into thinking the world is older than it is so he can then send you to hell for thinking that. Does that sound like someone you'd want to worship?
