Because they're out of their minds. I think jesus was a real dude, but just that... A DUDE. gOD is an imaginary friend that people make up to make themselves feel better about themselves and their imminent death. Heaven is the nice, white, fluffy place they get to go to if they bow and pray and dedicate their whole lives to worshipping this invisible, unproven "deity". Hell is the place us bad people go to who oppose them, that gives them further "comfort" knowing they're on gOD's "Good" list.

Jesus, God, Heaven and Hell all exist. They are all very real. Have you ever seen a Abraham Lincoln, Henry the VIII or even a million dollars? Pictures yes, in real life.. No you haven't but you know they exist because you have read about it and you believe what you have read. Do you have faith that these facts were true?

Just because you haven't actually seen something doesn't mean it's not real and it's not true.

The Bible has been around for a very long time you can feel it , touch it and read it. It is the Word of God. Believing in God and Jesus is called Faith. Heaven is the gift God gives those that believe it him. It is a much better place then this world.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Hell is very real and the devil is around us every day. Just stop and really look around at what has become of the people today. Broken homes, marriages, lives turned upside down. This is the work of the devil.

I am not saying believer's in Christ are going to have it any easier, but we have got a life saver and his name is Jesus Christ. As long as I have Him on my side, I can withstand anything.

"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." Ephesians 6:11

Below is a web-site that I pray will encourage your search.

Most believe because they were indoctrinated to do so from the time they were born. They were told by trusted adults that God & Jesus existed before they could form any realistic opinions of their own. They were taught to accept it without question and the message was constantly reinforced until it became ingrained in them.

Many go through life without ever questioning, and pass along the same beliefs to their children. Others may question the concept, but it is very difficult to overcome beliefs that were instilled in you when you were very young.

If you go to the Middle East, you will find the exact same process fostering belief in Allah & Mohammad. There, the message is even more forcefully fed to the young, and the very thought of questioning is a serious matter that can lead to even more serious consequences.

And thus, the belief goes on ... generation after generation.

I have never seen Jesus, he died way before I was born. I believe a man named Jesus of Nazareth once walked the Earth becasue history indicates that he did.

I have never seen God, I do not believe anyone ever has or ever will, yet I have seen evidence for a higher being.

I have never seen heaven. I hope it exists in some form, but have no evidence.

I have never seen hell and if there is a God, there can be no hell.

Believing in God and Jesus is seeing, experiencing living, and hoping for the a good future.

Heaven (the New Jerusalem, the tree of life and streets of Gold) can be read about or dreamed about, but you'll have to wait until Jesus second coming to see it. You'll just have to wait until the resurrection if you die befire Jesus comes.

Hell (hades/sheol) is the grave. Hell (gehenna) is the second death and literally refers to a junkyard where things are basically annihilated. There is a term also called tartaros (i'm not sure of the spelling) mentioned in 1peter (I thinK) but it's simply this planet where Satan will be bound for 1000 years after the second coming of jesus.

DJ,
I have never seen you but I believe that you exist. I have never seen AIR but I believe that it exists. I have read the BIBLE and a number of documental proofs that it is inspired of GOD. I believe that GOD must exist as I have read and understand that Jesus did exist at one time from a Historical accounts Since I believe in GOD and that Jesus is HIS SON, I also must believe the Bible and it tells me that Heaven and Hell are real places. GOD will take care of the rest. Would you like to study the Bible with me. If so, drop me a note and we will begin ASAP. Have a great week.
Thanks,
Eds

The real world is not that of the physical, but of the spiritual. This world is a creation of God.

Many choose not to believe because they can touch or feel or hear him. Yet, that does not excuse the fact that he exists.

The reason why many do not believe in God is because they cannot hear him. And the reason why they cannot hear him is because they are seperated from God by sin.

For a man to know God, the man must seek God. For how can a man find his way unless he first search for the way.

The fingerprints of God are everywhere. They have just been covered over by mans'.

Unless a man is reborn in his spirit, he cannot see, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. For because of sin, the spirit of a man becomes seperated, becomes dead, is sold unto death. And unless his spirit is reborn, born again, he will perish. Ask Jesus into your heart today and ask for forgiveness of your sin and you will be saved from death.

Haven't physically seen Jesus, God, heaven and hell.
But I believe because I'm convinced the scripture is divine in origin. Trust me... no human mind was behind the writing of the scriptures. So although I haven't seen with my own eyes I believe.

1. No, I'm not that old, because he's in history books.

2. No, no man has ever seen God (he is spirit), only logical explanation for mankind and the whole earth.

3. No, I'm not dead yet, because my God says so.

4. No, never will....because if there's a Heaven then there's a Hell. Can't have an up if you don't have a down.

An old church friend saw a glimpse of Heaven in a NDE. I have felt Jesus and seen a glow of light that I percieved to be Him. I have not seen God, but have felt his presence. I don't even like to think about hell. In my opinion, I am already there.
I don't know if it exists for you, but it does for me.
