Roy Jones is still in chaos. He needs to reassert himself at the top of boxing through hardwork and rigid training. He made mistakes before and he didn't save face at all, he lost fights simultaneously. It is better for him to renew himself and revitalize his strength and power to bring back those days of glory. He has a lot of supporters and fans who want him to stand up again and have the drive to be the best again.
When that day comes BH will definitely fight him.
RJ won via decision on their first fight.

Jones Jr gained their first tournament-up. Jones Jr had an extremely valuable beginner occupation on the same time as Hopkins substitute into doing airborne dirt and dirt interior the streets of Philly. Hopkins substitute into nonetheless at an beginner point while those 2 warring parties met the 1st time. It substitute into an remarkable journey for Hopkins to combat a Jones Jr that substitute into plenty forward on his occupation. Hopkins persevered to benefit and benefit skills in boxing. It substitute into very unlucky that those 2 warring parties did no longer meet while they have been the two on good of their video games. Now... i've got faith the tables have grew to become on Roy Jones Jr. Hopkins nonetheless has extra interior the tank than Roy Jones Jr and it will tutor of their combat. it will be a aggressive tournament for the 1st 0.5 of the combat, yet Hopkins rugged form will tire out Jones Jr. Hopkins via UD

Bernard when he picqued, may have had a chance against the slightly slower version that we are seeing as of late.
But its also rumored that RJJ may come in at a lower weight class, possibly mids. If thats the case, dont be surprised if you see the speed that disappeared suddenly appear again, as was the case with Shane Mosely. If so, I dont think Bernard would fight him again.
Mostly, because Bernard, as good as he is, has not really wanted to be in a high pressure fight in a long time. I mean, lets be honest here. Bernard's two most notable wins are against blown up welterweights (DLH and Trinidad). Antonio Tarver was an easy beat because he had been taping the ROCKY BALBOA movie and couldnt spend any time training to fight him, so much as he had to focus his training on dropping weight.
Bernard doesnt have the "fighters eye" that he used to..which is why he lost his fights to Jermain Taylor. Bernard did more damage..in both fights. But all judges could see that Bernard just didnt want to engage.
So far as Roy Jones is concerned...he wants his glory back. And he may have wallowed in the basement long enough to want to do something about it. Please keep in mind...even if older...we are still talking about one of the most physically gifted boxers in history.

The Roy Jones of today is a shadow of his former self. Hopkins would beat him today. If they both fought in their primes Roy would've won. They already fought when both were young and Roy won pretty easily.
