Contact paper will not last on a counter.
Measure your counter and go to a Home type place and then will give you options.
Good luck

Counter tops?? Contact paper does tear when sharp objects pierce it.

WalMart carries it. Make certain you get the sticky stuff, some shelf liners have not adhesive, so the paper just slips off.

I honestly would suggest that you shouldn't cover kitchen counter tops with shelf liner. If that's what your talking about. The kind that sticks on will difficult to remove once rips and tears and stains make it so you have to take it up. And it will rip and stain with being wet and wiped as your counters will be used.
Try talking to someone at a box store, i.,e., Lowe's or Home Depot.
Thanks

I saw once on a DIY show that you can actually PAINT over laminate countertops. You base coat with a bonding agent, then paint with your color and then a shiny glossy finish on top. HTH
I wouldnt do the contact paper.

I would strongly suggest in NOT covering your counter tops with contact paper. Look into something more durable please, it will last longer.
