This weekend I moved away from what i've called home my whole life. i left behind friends, family, job and the day to day comforts that i had used to help define myself. In two weeks i will be taking a month long road trip to places that i've never been - in fact, after my first day on the road, i will be farther away from any place that i've ever called home my entire life. I'm doing this to seek out a new life and purpose. this has been a dream of mine for some time, and it started this past weekend. it doesnt feel real to me yet and i'm not sure that i want it to feel real. i feel more at home in a strange city and unusual surroundings than i did in my hometown. if you've ever had a dream come true, tell my how you felt/feel about being caught up in the middle of it. for me; it feels good so far.

ya I had great fantasies with the virgin Mary, well lets just say she isn't a virgin, any more. I bet u r guessing how I did it with her, and she is still calling her self a virgin still. Its a miracle......I over powered her,and with my little thingy....u get the idea....some woman don't feel me. But the evidence was left there...

Yes. Only a few people I know have taken that journey. It's a great way to self discovery. Back in the 60's it was a popular thing for young people to hit the road to find adventure. Also people join missions to do it. Have a good time!

i've had a few dreams, with different circumstances, come true throughout my life.

- when i was 10 or 11, i had a dream of an earthquake that hit california. i remember a bridge that collapsed and it seemed as though many of the buildings crumbled. this was three months before the 1989 earthquake that reached 7.1 on the ritcher scale.

- a friend of mine was living in missouri. i dreamt she ended up moving to ohio. course this was two to three months before she actually did move.

- same friend from missouri/ohio, her sister was pregnant in my dream. had this dream two or three months before her sister actually became pregnant.

- since i was 8 years old, i dreamt of these, what i call "shadow people". they were real people but i didn't know who they were or could see their faces. i could feel their temperment and what their personalities were like. over the many years of moving around (military brat) i met each and every single person from my dream who matched these shadow people. the more people i met, the more the shadow people disappeared. there was one left, a man. this man i had a deep connection with and for many many years until i was 27, i could never see his face. when i joined the military, i finally met the "shadowy man of my dreams". it was like a jolt when i met him - as though something collided and time stood still. this man later became my husband. since then, i no longer dream of shadowy people.

- my husband came home for R&R during his tour in iraq. after he left, i felt another presence with me. though i kept dismissing it and dismissing it, it later pushed me into buying a pregnancy test. i was pregnant. perhaps it was hormonal or a woman's intuition. regardless of what it was, it was the best feeling ever next to finally meeting my dream man.

Yes, in those terms, I've had many dreams come true. I believe we're all citizens of the world and we should all learn to feel at home in the world, wherever we find ourselves.

Sort of...but it's little things, like something that somebody asks me or something I see. It's like deja-vu, so it's very possible that I never actually dreamt it and my brain just though I did. Other than that no, but I wish I did

In the middle of working hard to make two of mine come true. Lotsa hard work and risk. Hope it'll be worth it.

My dream came true when I married my husband. He's more than I ever dreamed of having, and I am eternally thankful to have him. He is everything to me.

Be brave and follow your dreams. Many wish they had the guts to do the same.
