well here is one thing that is great and it don't take you to become a doctor at all but you have to have great math skills and that is Radiology. Its the best job in the world and you can also do it as a travel job as well going to a different hospital every 3 months to a year and you can even find the best place to work and live at that you would feel you can stay the rest of your working days. I wanted to do this so bad but family medical problems have stopped me don't let it stop you at all.
Radiology can be Nuc-Med, Ultrasound, CT, X-Ray, and even lead you to oncology as well so you would have a large range of what you can do in this line of work that pays at some places over 28 an hour. Radiology Techs are one of the most needed in the Medical Field. To tell you how close it up there with Nursing and I for one would hate that job most Nurses are treated bad. Radiology can be a 2 to 4 year degree just to let you know. What you can do is go to your local Hospital and ask them about Radiology and that you are looking into that field and they will tell you everything you will ever want to know about the job and then some. Oh! some Hospitals will pay for some types of Health Care Jobs that can get you in the door to a field you want to work in as well. In Alaska there was a hospital that paid for Nursing school as well as Radiology not all hospitals will do this cause of the money that is needed. You can find out tons of different ways to have your College paid for. Good Luck

Before you go trying to save the world you must first save your self. Try your guidance councelor. They have these dumb test that may give you an idea of what to do. My best suggestion is to talk to various adults and see what they do for a living and what their job satisfaction level is. I'm in an engineering field and work with computers, electronics and technology in general. I think that I was borned to do this and I'm very happy in my field of choice. The hours are great and flexible and the pay is not half bad. Plus the people I deal with on a day to day basis and pretty good too.
I would also look into the requirements to work in that fields and the saturation level of such field. For example thousands of students study psycology but very few make it. Reason being is that you need at least a master degree to get a half way decend job and there are many many people studying this field. Even worst is political science. So, not only you must considere the things you like to do but you must also think about if there is a job for your chocen field of study.

Well if youre already graduating Im thinking you shouldve already applied for college last year, if you were going. Most likely youre going to work in some form of the service industry since manufacturing jobs are scarce in most places. You might me able to go into the military to get college money or if you had good grades maybe a grant. However, I think if you could do that or get your parents to send you would wouldnt be here asking.

I would absolutely go to school and at the very least achieve a bachelors degree. This would give you great flexibility as far as getting two feet in the door and make you more marketable. Once you have started on the path you will be exposed to many options from which to make your decision. You have probably heard this a 100 times so here goes 101, get your education now while your still young, once you start working and settle down it will be much harder (still accessible but just much harder) GO GET'EM !

Well, my suggestion would be to go to law school for criminal justice courses, you could be a firefighter, You could get involved in any health field. All of them careers you are helping someone, or saving someone. I'm sure there are many other fields you could get into as well.

um you should probably go to college like i am. that will set you off in the right direction. people cant tell you what to do with your life, its your decision and most people want to help people. try to narrow down your interests and maybe someone can help you.

It seems as if college may not be an option for you. Try to look for a job that will pay for training for further yourself.
