That must suck! I have been in the same position and also asked the same question! My advice i got was Keep yourself busy, don't think about him and time! Also find another to like which can keep your mind off the other guy.

The heart is the last to be told that the relationship is over. The mind must help the heart catch up. You can do that by getting yourself involved in other things. Each day the pain will lessen. You will look back in a while and wonder why you spent so much time 'getting over'. That's just the way of love.....

take a break from men. Say to yourself, I am not allowed to go out with or date anymore men for 6mos. Duringthis time, do not let yourself get interested in anyone, if you see someone that interest you then steer clear. (You can;'t even have a booty call ! lol) When my heart was badly broken I took a 9month hiatus from men and I learned a lot about myself and what I wanted in my life. Now I am with the greatest guy. The 9mos also really flew by.

ok...there wuz a guy i liked forever in middle school and he liked me back...we went out and on valentines day he broke up with me...i wuz heart broken. but after about a week i wuz over him. just try to forget and spend more time with friends
