You never get over it, you just learn to cope with it. I sold my 79 Trans Am to get a faster car... a Mustang.

Hmmm ... My best advice is - get something you like even more :D Something that makes you lose sleep over not having.

Then u are good :)

If you can't - try just to keep your old car - modify it or pimp it up or something :)

I have one car I'm never gonna sell. It's a 1976 IH Scout with 38" tires - air lockers front and rear - 318 mopar with msd - 4bbl intake 4bbl carb - and ALLOT of other modifications.

I will never sell my friend , it's as simple as that :D

I bought a 1978 Dodge Power Wagon with a 440cid brand new for $6500.00 and kept it for 7 years and some guy offered me $6000.00 cash, what could I do.

I sold it and heard that this guy gave it to his son that in turn blew up the motor and also wrecked it, didn't bother me.

Well with mine the transmission started not going into gears and I sometimes had to speed shift it, then the damn starter started going out, i had a S-10 w/5 speed, so I found a used car dealer that had a Honda Prelude and he just happened to want my truck so he agreed to trade me straight across, all I had to pay was the Title fees. I wanted something fast to so that did it for me, F' that S-10! lol. ( OH YEAH.....MUSTANGS AREN'T FAST! MY UNCLE DRAGS ONE, 10K into the motor and his TA and Vette kick its *** BAD!!!)

I couldn't afford the insurance on mine, so I had to let it go. I still miss the old beater.
