AAAH! She has refused to eat for many days! We've been forcing puppy milk down her throat but it doesn't seem to be working! She is curled up, paralyzed, and breathing very heavily! My other dog died yesterday, and I can't stand crying anymore! The vet is closed, there is no emergency vet, and don't yell at me ok?! It's too late...

I cannot believe that no vets are around today!!! It's only Sunday! Screw them! Do they even care?!?! I mean, come on! I know they need their time off, but if that's so, why did they even want to be vets?

She is in my lap right now. *sigh* I don't know what to do about it. She's slowly, painfully dying and there seems to be nothing I can do anymore...

I know how hard it is- my new puppy is very sick and we cant figure out why. Just hold her and let her know you love her- there is nothing better that love that you can give her now. Obviously get to the vet ASAP in the morning. We will have you both in our prayers.

Usually a vet will come out on weekends and nights, Call his office and see if ther is a contact emergency number, there should be. Try all the vets in you phone book. The poor thing is suffering and needs help! Maybe your dogs have parvo??

well have they been checked for worms? my mother in laws dog was doing that and we found out that was the problem. with parvo they don't pee blood they poop blood. so maybe that's not the case. You should have your friend check for anything that the dogs might have got into even for the sake of her pets. you need to keep your dog hydrated so you should try some Gatorade for the electrolytes. And see the vet. asap in the morning even if she doesnt make it it might be best to find out what caused this. Im so sorry. I know what it feels like to lose a beloved pet.

did you have any of the bad recalled food???
you can call another vet close to you, youll half to pay a lot but they might help

also here is a poem that might help with your pain

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special
friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water
and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we
remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy
and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special
to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green
grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Is she vomiting? Drinking water? Any seizures?

You need to get your dog to a vet ASAP. If it's poisoning, toxic food, or kidney failure, then hours mean the difference between life and death. If there is no emergency vet in your town then get to the next town!! Look on the internet! But get going!

if this is from the dog food...stuff...i won't yell it does sound to late...keep her warm and thats about all ya can do. you can keep trying the puppy milk or try baby formula or and pedalite...i'm sorry....

***EDIT***

this does not sound like parvo pavo is vomit...poops..and really bad cases LOTS blood in those....it sounds like kidney failure....dilaisis(sp) is the only thing that can be done....
if she does make till morning...
i wouldn't call the vet i'd be waiting at the door! if she can't be saved at least...u can end her pain.

I am very sorry i lost 2 cats in dec. a week apart.....I know that your dogs can not be replaced...but u can always go to the shelter and save a life or two...in time...

Sorry to hear your dog died yesterday. Are you feeding your dog the dog food that is on recall. Check the labels and see if wheat gluten is one of the ingredients. If it is, then that is why your dog died. I'm sorry to hear that your other dog is that sick. Is there a 24 hour poison control you can call? Sorry I can't help you.

**Give her some lunch meat, or any people food. It's better than eathing NOTHING.

How old is she by the way? She also may not be eating because you other dog had died recently. Sorry for your loss. Hope she gets better!

**EDIT** I think there is a disease that a lot of puppies get and she might have that. Sorry I don't know what it's called though.

Without knowing the breed, age, or gender....it's pretty much vet or nothing for your dog. Yahoo members cannot save her, you need to find a vet in the area. Call directory or look in the local paper for the nearest one. Good luck.

Oh, wow. This is the saddest thing I've seen all day. I'm sorry I have no advice for you, but I want you to know that we'll be thinking of you and your dog tonight and I really hope everything will be okay. Good luck.
