I am doing my state taxes from last year and this year, I live in Illinois and worked in Indiana.

Can anyone please tell me the exact form numbers, so that I may download them?

You file a non-resident return in IN, listing only the IN sourced income, and pay any IN tax due. You then file a resident return in IL, listing all income from all sources, and take a credit for the IN taxes paid.

If your company is in the same state you live in, then you should only have to file them in one state. If not, then I'm not sure. My husbands works out of state, but the company her works for is in the same state we live. Hope this helps, good luck.
