Your puppy most likely has a reaction to the shots, as a trainer working with puppies a lot, I find 95% actually do get 'down' for a while, with many flue like symptoms. When I was vet nursing I discovered this was due to the animal's immune system being lowered (same as when we have shots) for a while until it gets stronger again, during this time it may get sick from the actual shot, or from anything else that's around (due to it's immune system being down temporarily)
You should at least ring your vet and have a chat to them, I'm sure they'll be able to allay your concerns, or in the odd chance it is serious, they'll tell you to bring it in.
Hope this helps ;)

My puppy just got his first set of shots about 3 weeks ago. He didn't get sick at all. But he went to sleep shortly after the shot. The people we got him from said that was normal. So if your puppy is sick, call the vet to see what may be wrong.

that is not normal, but some puppies do get sick. My 9 mo puppy was sick when he got his shots. Laid around sleeping, diarhea. The vet said to just keep an eye on him and if diarhea did not stop in 48 hrs I had to take him in. He was fine by the 3rd day. Now, I will know to watch him every time he gets shots! If your puppy is vomiting or diarhea make sure you let your vet know. He may have you give him something or bring him in. Good luck!

Most pups do. Any pup will feel kind of lousy for a day or 2 after the shots. May also have the runs too.
He'll be fine and back to itself in a day or two.

Yes, they certain can get very ill from innoculations.
..and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Get in touch with your vet and let him/her know about your observations. It's important you do this.

The entire protocol of innoculations and over innoculation has become under heavy scrutiny lately and so it should be.

Please find the time to get in touch with your local Jack Russel club and let them know about your situation. Chances are good that they'll be able to offer you valuable information about your specific breed of dog and the ramifications of innoculations.

All the best

Your vet should have told you that the puppies may be somewhat "fluish" for a few days.

No take the pup to the vet he may be allergic to the shots, he could die from this allergic reaction so take him asap.
