the recipie calls for 3 pounds (1.3kg) of shrimp.
I have 454grams... how many grams are in a kg?

The pkg of seasoning is 284... would I cut the pack in half or in quarters for 454 grams of shrimp?

454 grams = 1 lb.

So you have one pound of shrimp. Either make it and cut back off on the rest of the ingrreditns by 2/3 or get yourself 2 more pounds of shrimp.

1000 grams are in 1 kilogram.

454 grams equals one pound.

Although, I don't quite understand the part about the seasoning. Is the 284 (grams, I presume) what is required if you used 1.3 kg (3 pounds) of shrimp? If so, use about 100 grams because you are using 1/3 the amount of shrimp.
